Hm, does Solidity compile into Yul? I thought it complies in bytecode directly, right?
It compiles to Yul first, then to EVM bytecode

I believe in the 9:40 the way of creating the function signature is wrong, when creating the signature you need to pass the function selector, instead of:
function retrieve() public view returns (uint256)
It would be:
retrieve()
When passing ‘retrieve()’ to keccak256:
2e64cec1…
But the one given in the video, ‘function retrieve() public view returns (uint256)’ doesn’t match the hash in 9:44:

After watching your video and doing some research it’s seems like Yup has been out for about 4 years so where has it been all this time it seems like it made so much since then great video btw….
