I am and old rock and roller started playing in 1966. I got to learn this song. It's the song that needs to be sung all over the USA.
being a 60s baby, Kid Rock arrived kinda late on the scene for me - and to be honest I didn't realize the talent this guy had at that time. As other musicians have pushed me away Kid Rock has brought me in - with his no bs approach and in your face style with the talent to back it up. This song is a great example of the range this guy has- he is so much more than what people see at first glance
Me being a 80s baby Kid rock came up in my era, because of him I had my horizion in music expanded greatly. I would never tuned into greats like Hank, Merle, Waylon, Willie, Cash, David allan coe, Jerry Lee lewis, Springsteen and many more. His love for country, soul, blues and rock and roll is one of a kind.

I've been a Kid follower sence he hit the airways. My hole family went to see him and I had to babysit, boy was I got to tie. I Finely got to see him in concert last fall. He really has shown a wide range of genre and collabs over the years with so many people. He's someone who is the benchmark of not being stale and growing throughout his career in music. He always has had that sound that takes me back to my youth when being energetic full of compassion in all you did, when anything was possible. Even when I turned old enough to drive and can remember cruising down past the country mountain scenery with the old rusted fencing, when life was magic. It’s been awhile so how you been? There are many ways to show being a true American. Someways are donating time to others such as putting flags out at cemeteries for soldiers serving a meal to homeless, voting , entertaining troops away on deployment . Writing songs, showing patriotism, or giving a sacrifice of serving your country in peace and that war. I defended this country 90 during Desert Storm and now I’m fighting the very thing that I stood up for. I will loose it all because of lies. No matter what don’t stop bringing some sunshine to those without , those who are never seen doing Gods work and for all the men and woman serving this country be proud and stand tall for those who have sacrificed the ultimate ( there lives) . My God take control of this nation for he is the only one that can fix this mess.
