- New Mexico, you sure do have one beautiful sunset! We made our first stop out of Texas in the mountains of New Mexico! We have been to New Mexico several times now, but we always find something new to love about it when we are there.

Oh my gosh I know exactly where you are. I lived in both NM and CO and drove that highway many many times. Mostly to see family. I miss both locations very much was glad to see you enjoy the NM beauty. Im sure you drove right past our family ranch I almost cried just seeing the landscape again I miss that place so much. Beautiful scenery the best part is to see the kids actually playing a board game and enjoying it because this is a rare thing to see nowadays. I love the mountains where I live and even though I have lived in several other states I find that I always somehow manage to come back to these beautiful Appalachian Mountains where I call home. Building these special memories with your children is so important because these memories will be passed down to their children in the stories that they will share with their children in years to come. Have a very happy and blessed journey Denman family.
