Yay...been looking forward to "The Rent's Vlog"! I just disembarked yesterday (Freedom), and yes, I gave dinner a solid 7...all weekend though. Also, YES, vacationing is tiring...I'm beat! But you were working AND vacationing with them too. I see they like the Viking Crown Lounge at night...one of my favorite spots, especially for sunsets.

Such a joy to watch you and your parents enjoying your time together. Your day in Halifax had me literally lol'ing: we were there in mid-August for first port call of a 16 nt Canada/Greenland cruise, and had the same foggy, rainy, damp, dreary weather -- and none of the shops were open then either, despite it being a weekday. We walked the wharf, a little bit around town (including that rainbow crosswalk) and made a fairly hasty retreat back to the ship (like your dad).
Oh gy gosh i love your parents!! I remember when they sailed with you on Advanture!!! That seems like yesterday! I know it feels good when they come cruise and i know it fills their hearts with sunshine to see you too!! Im so glad yall had this week together!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Hi Jordan I had friends on same cruise as your parents.I was in Saint John NB same day to spend day with them.Ship looks nice with new paint job.We were on her for our first cruise back in 2005.

I’m so glad your parents could join you for a week! What a blast!! Looked like you had a really fun time with them! I love thrifting too! I found a Michael Kors full length winter coat at goodwill last year for $14.99! It had a small rip under the armpit that was easy to sew up kept me nice and warm! It was probably supposed to be calf length or shorter but I’m vertically challenged too so down to my ankles!
I have watched your videos for quite some time now and it's always so interesting to see you visiting foreign ports so it was a little bit strange to all of a sudden to see you walking the streets of Halifax, N.S. It's too bad that the weather was so grey and wet when you were here but we were catching the tail end of a tropical storm that day. I think the reason some of the stores weren't open was that we were still getting our power back on after being hit with a hurricane. I could be wrong but most stores usually are open earlier in my experience. Anyway, I love your folks and I love to see you with them enjoying my city!!

@@jbauth I work in an office building across from the ferry terminal. The ships are right across the street. The area is so lively when the ships are in port. Its a great area to walk around.

Saint John is a port on the Bay of Fundy, the highest tides in the world. I live about 1.5 hours away this part along with Halifax made my heart extra happy

the Famous words of Dad on the cruise are of course "how u doing " and let not forget on the other cruise when he said I'm beat and its only day 3 of cruise well he gave this to Jordan now on this cruise haha. But at the end we love to see the parents and they enjoyed it. Keep it up and stay strong.
Next time you go back to Portland do the mail boat cruise! It’s actually a mail boat that takes you around to the different islands in casco bay where they have to drop off mail. It’s pretty cheap and a lot of fun (I’m from Portland, you can believe me 😂)
You can BYOB and bring food, they don’t care
I will also add that there is so much good coffee in Portland, don’t settle for Starbucks!
