@Dragon blader, unboxing, gaming, cartoon reviews just too let you know that during both World Wars and when the Titanic sank hundreds of people died to sharks. Its the deep ocean white tip sharks that are the man eaters as they have to eat everything they see unlike most sharks who prefer fish. Tiger sharks really aren't the most dangerous in the ocean, just of those humans are likely to have contact with as white tips live far far out at sea in the deep ocean, which is why they really aren't fussy about what they eat.
@@Pcfrs_Unleashed honestly as long as you don't go down in the deep ocean most sharks will leave you alone. Its the white tip shark that actively hunts and eats humans from ship wrecks because they live out in the deep sea where it makes sense to not be fussy about what you eat. Most sharks that you'll encounter near land really aren't interested, even great Whites. They much prefer fish and will only bite you by mistake. It really depends on the damage that one bite does that determines your fait.
@Dragon blader, unboxing, gaming, cartoon reviews oh many many times. Honestly I'd only even think about shark attacks if I was out in the deep ocean. Otherwise its so rare to be a pointless thing to worry about.
I once found out I'd been swimming with a shark on holiday. Went out really deep and when I got back in they were sending a boat out to try to scare it off and even then I went straight back in. Stayed a bit closer to the shore but still..
Yhea more people die from bee stings I believe even if you take the amount of contact that we have to both animals in to account.

Fun fact: Tiger sharks only have stripes when they are young and lose them with age
Not necessarily true. Some of them still have the stripes but are very faint to be completely visible
They’re also closely related to bull sharks
This and the 76 days lost at sea are also episodes from "I Shouldn't be Alive". It includes the survivors recalling the event that took place and they dramatize it so you can watch it as its explained. Wonderful show and you should watch it if you haven't, most of the show is on youtube.

These were not some of Deborah's closest friends. Only one person was her close friend - Brad. The rest of the people were acquaintances. She met them the day they began sailing, though she did hear about the "captain" because he had previously sailed on a well known and reputable ship. Unfortunately he was totally incompetent and the skipper was an alcoholic who continued to drink instead of try to gain control of the boat during the hurricane.
This sounds like a good premise for a horror movie.

I was surfing off of Mustang Island in Corpus Christi a few years back and watched a 14' tiger shark bite a huge Kemp riddley sea turtle in half at the surface just a few feet away. So much blood in the water. Ngl, I bent my legs up at the knees to get them out of the water as best I could and make the longest scariest paddle to shore of my life. (100 yards or so but felt like 100 miles) nightmare fuel
I was swimming and a tiger sharks fin was spotted so I threw a lobster at it and it swam away

Another mistake, they said there was no rescue beacon in the '80s. According to Deborah, they didn't have time to activate the beacon because the yacht sank so fast. There are so many errors in this video.

They wouldn't have gained anything from eating her. Both the infection problem and the fact that they would become more thirsty as the body uses water to break down food would have made them reconsider. Also, you are not that great at hiding something when you are delirious and especially when there are two people that have to keep that secret
In this day and age if a group of people were in the same situation they would be making tik toks and moaning about lack of WiFi... Its time to blow the world up.

I remember watching this on that show "I shouldn't be alive" YEARS ago when I was a kid and still have nightmares about this one. I also have an irrational fear of going on boats out at sea now...
I watched that episode a month ago, last week I went 15 miles into the ocean on a speedboat to see dolphins... As soon as I saw the land dissappear and nothing but heavy ocean in front and besides me made me realise, one slit in this speedboat and I'm going to be eaten alive...
The dolphins were cool, but was it worth the risk of being *eaten alive* ? No... No it was not. That was my last time I go on a boat.
They should've grabbed as much supplies and put them on the raft right when the waves were getting that high.

Tiger Sharks may gather at human blood, but after tasting it, they will chase after fish instead due to evolution. They don’t go crazy for blood, so they won’t attack a ship unless they’re looking for handouts or smell fish blood near it.

One thing you should know is if sharks are circling you and they know your on the boat or they smell blood and if there is multiple they WILL try to flip the boat

Another mistake. They claim the two woke up to find Meg dead. Deborah said Meg started dancing and talking in tongues and then fell into Deborah's arms and died.

Tiger sharks are not the most dangerous sharks. The great white is responsible for more unprovoked attacks. A lot of researchers would say the bull shark is actually the most dangerous though as it has a habit of hunting in brackish and freshwater.
