Ive only tried a few cases so far but my favorite case so far is the Poetic Guardian. I prefer clear cases but also want a solid fit and good drop protection and this checks all those boxes. Would definitely recommend.

Great video 😊 I bought this phone and let me tell you, it’s so so hard to find any case where I live. Unless you order something online, which is a problem. I like something that protects the hinge and those volume buttons for sure. I’m so scared to drop that phone, it’s too fragile 😂

Either a top 5 or 10, or even just a list on screen of all cases reviewed and whether you gave them a thumbs up or down. Just something we could quickly refer to when making our preparing to make a purchase. Cos now I feel like I should have been taking notes, but instead will probably have to rewatch much of the video 😅
Excellent video and saves an extreme amount of time seeking the best case. It's narrowed down the selection well, even between the best ones. I will provide feedback once I've got my phone and seen and felt some of the cases recommended. Well produced and informative, well done.
The UAG Civilian case was given a thumbs down but shows a thumbs up on the screen. I just ordered this case and for me is one of the best looking and most useful for me because of the hinge and volume control protection. U can always replace the adhesive strips with double sided Scotch tape in the future.
I've been using the UAG case for my Z Flip 4 for 1 month now, it feels great, and about the sticker that fixes it in the case it's pretty good without slipping even I have a hard time taking it off because of it. The adhesive is too tight, so if you don't try to remove the sticker, we won't have the most accurate assessment.
Picked up the phone today! I already bought the Otter Thin Flex (I have used otter box ones in the past)...but I haven't opened it yet...I'm going to return it and order the i-Blason Armorbox case once we get back home (florida) in a week. Excellent reviews.... I just wish you would rate them from best to worst...for protection.
Flip 4 owner and already dropped and broke me phone. I can not recommend enough to get a case with a hinge protector. I always liked Samsung for their sturdy phones, especially with my previous Samsung phones, they seem to never break when I drop it. Although, with a well placed drop on the corner of the hinge will 100% break your phone and as a result will not be able to bend/touch/see with it rendering completely useless. This is what happened to me. There is a old watch maker saying, I’m sure I’m saying it wrong, “the more gears you put in a watch, the more chances of it breaking” After watching this video and with my past experience, I would go for the VRS Terra Guard case. It seems to offer the best protection. (disclaimer: I have not yet purchase the case yet) I hope this helps and good luck finding a case.

Ringke and Ghostek are releasing clear cases for the Flip 4 that have hinge protectors. I wonder how they will perform. Hinge protection is a must for me.
I have been eyeing that case from Ringke from day 1, and when they put it on their website, I immediately bought it 😀 but guess what? The next day they cancelled my order on their own and said that it was out of stock and still is now.
@@CaveyMoth I even checked their Korean website as they are based there and I don't think it will be available any time soon. Maybe you can look for the same kind of case with different brands tho.

You CANNOT say that ANY of these cases that lack a spine cover is 100 protective. I dropped my flip in the samsung clear ring case. And it hit the corner and broke from within. Samsung wouldn't cover it either.
So here's an original idea. I don't like the lack of hinge protection with the supcase, but the clip is very robust. I like the hinge protection and reputation of the otterbox, so I now use the otterbox case and it clips into the supcase clip tightly and securely.
The Otter Box Symmetry has a design flaw, it literally falls apart. I purchased the Symmetry because they don't have a Defender case yet. They replaced my Symmetry case and it still fell apart. Sent both back. Got a refund. Read the reviews on Otter Box site. Look into the caka case with magnetic hinge protection or the cocoing case with magnetic hinge protection. Easy on, decent price
I would need to use this in landscape mode attached to a SP Connect mount on my motorcycle. Would any of those cases be suitable to be made into one piece (maybe using strong repair tape) and clipping on and off the opened phone???
The Spigen clear ring case looks like it would protect the phone well but I hate how much the ring sticks out. I'll probably go for the Samsung ring clear silicone case because of how much nicer it looks, I rarely ever dropped my previous slab phone so I guess it'd be fine 😅
Does the i-Blason (or any of them) allow you to charge wirelessly? I have a metal case rith a ring kickstand that I love and can mount magnetically in my car, but it doesn't wirelessly charge, need a usb plugin.

Is it so much to ask for a silicone case like Samsungs--but it comes with a little more hinge protection?!?!??! I love the look and feel of the case and the practicality of the ring (unlike some built in metal rings that can sometimes hurt), but I hate how little protection the hinge gets. The ring is pretty important to me since the phone is quite long and hard to handle. Solid handling = less likely to drop after all. However, one bad drop on the hinge when folded and its over. I really don't want to get some bulky industrial edgy looking phone that looks like its $8 on Amazon If a company just made a slim flip 4 phone case with looks, a practical accessory, and even a modicum of hinge protection--they would make so much money I bet
The silicone started peeling and cracking after one month of use and then had a drop on the hinge.... completely broke the phone. Luckily I have a warranty and have a new one but looking for a good case that has hinge protection is a MUST
im assuming the little plastic pieces with the spigen (15) case are for customization. like stickers and stuff, so you dont have to put them directly on your phone, at least that's what ive seen them used for.
I just ordered the Zflip 4 and they had the Otterbox thin flex and the regular drop flex Otterbox on Vine I ordered them both so it is interesting to see them here. The thin flex I received is blue with sparkles which should go with the blue Zflip 4 I ordered and then I was wondering about the thicker drop flex if it's hard to open as some were saying, of course, I'll test it myself when I get the phone on Tuesday and write the review, but I was curious as to your opinion.

Warning for the silcone Samsung case. The silocone does wear out very fast meaning within a couple of mounths. I hate that because prefer sustainability. I don't want to waist materials.

guys don't get cases with hinge protection that bulges. if you drop it while opened on the bulged part it will tug and bend the phone backwards. if you drop your phone a lot it might damage the screen at the bendy part

The thing is both phones had a lroblem with preinatalled screen protector, which started to peel off just after 9 months after purchase. I don't want my mom change this protector every now and then especially vecause where she lives it's hard to find samsung service. I heard some people jusy peel it off and ise the phoen wiyhout any protector and it works just fine. Anyone who did it? I just want this pho e last 3-4 years...
Blah the DROP FLEX Otterbox is awful the case literally slides off when you open and close it the Thin Flex is much better but doesn't provide a lot of protection will be looking elsewhere glad the Drop Flex was free if it hadn't been I would be angry 34.00 is a lot to pay for a crappy case

If u don't get hinge protection this phone sucks for drops, mine is being repaired after 3 months only beware of light protection.

I have to disagree on the wireless standing charger part, I use a standing one with the flip case . You just need to turn it sideways then it works

The only concern i have with some of the phone cases is that with the hardcase hinges it will be hard to use it with the car mount.

Tech 21 turns yellow after a while, but they have a warranty and will send you a new case if you file a claim on their site

You should check how easy it is to get pinched by the case. Some are way worse than others, at least on the flip 3.
At the end of the video you should line up your top 5
