The number of times Dr. D says OMG - hahahahaha. Love your passion brother. My name is Gilbert, from Zambia and I have been following you for a while now. Amazing stuff! I'm embarking on my project, starting this April. Inspired by you and many others, and I hope to get your email and exchange notes. Will also try to document my journey because we have so few of these resources in Africa. Thank you Brother!
This is a good job, sooner addota farm will start his own poultry farm. But for now we only did our goat pen and we have some number of goat in it already. You're a boss✌🏽
DOC, i been noticing that the chicks around me have been leaving the brooder fast in less days then they used to, and they get their feathers faster also, that leads me to believe that the genetics are changing in the chickens. great video, thank you for the tips!!

Sometimes it's ok to watch a good PEEP SHOW. Good luck my friend. We are doing Rhode island reds. Started with 2male and 2female chicks but one girl died. Now have 12. One of the roosters let's me scratch his neck and when I stroke his back he does a little dance. The other one just wants to attack me when I collect his girlfriends egg. Watching from the Philippines.
Gud management man, passion is key in what ever you dream of doing. Job well done. Am just in Kuroiler Chilema I imported frm your country, Uganda Chick master Ltd.
Your videos are really inspirational and I love watching them,,,,,,,,, I have one question and one suggestion depending on the anserr to the question,,,,,,,,, can you sell white shell chicken eggs in your area,, if you can, maybe concider the white leghorn breed,, as they are prolfic layers for pure breeds they don't go broody but with incubator you could breed your own replacement birds,, downside is half of them will be cock birds you would need a good market for them
Hope you are well during this time! How is your greens doing?I am wondering if your birds would alo maybe eat that green amarinth, you call it Dodo in Ugandal
Wooow... Finally... They look great... Good job... How is your helper doing? Is she happy with her job? Big big heart full of love for you... I wish you the best for your protects! Question for you ... Is alfalfa very expensive there?
@@FarmUp I'm going to tell you my experience... I have free ranging chickens and free range broilers... But at some point have predators and for a few months have to keep my birds locked up... And I notice the color of the eggs got very pail... So I started to soak and mix alfalfa with the feed, and soon after that, all the eggs starting to get a super bright orange color again!! Si it is a cheap way to add valeu to the eggs, as long as you get a good price...
Good job. your videos are deeply encouraging with your display of passion. Pls I have 2 questions bothering me. (1.) "BROILERS" This is the rule.
8 meters x 15 meters = 1274 sq feet or 1274 birds = 1 sq foot per bird.
Feeders = 50 birds +/- per 50lb feeder ÷ 1274 = 26 feeder's 🐥 🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥
Hello, do you mean layers or broilers. I have 6 meters × 15 meters and I am told that it can take about 500 layers or 900 broilers.
@@AfricaMiSeh
6 x 15 meters = 968 square feet or 968 broilers. 1 square foot per broiler 🐥
