Rammstein are better actors than 99,99% of Hollywood.
I am so extremely fascinated by the fact that so many non-Germans love this band and their music despite the fact that they hardly understand a world. That clearly shows that this band is an artistic masterpiece as a whole package.

Been listening to Rammstein since I was 12. I have learned more German from them than my German classes in high school.
As someone else said I picked up more German from Rammstein than I ever did in school😂
I'm partially german and I've listened to them since I was at least 12. Just feels right.
My grandma is German I always love this band
I think this song is about finding happiness. He's looking for a wife with dicke titten, and they are all around him, but still he keeps searching for it because he is blind. He also does not see all the beautiful things around him like nature etc. So maybe it means that happiness is often really close, but people are often blind and you just need to realize what happiness is for you. It might be closer than you think, and maybe something else then what you think it is.

Yes. It's so typical german for the many people. But they only wear it in Bavaria. For other parts of Germany it's just as strange as it is for other parts of the world. ^^

I don't speak a word of German, but I get a good idea what the song is about from the video. The Rammstein guitar riffs are so heavy and distinctive (as is Till's voice), I'm a big fan despite not understanding the language. But I think music is a universal language itself that we can all understand wherever we are in the world. I've watched the video several times and haven't stopped laughing yet :)
I´m a German native and it is the same here. I killed myself laughing.
As a german I can tell you that almost all Rammstein songs are full of metaphoras, sayings, double meanings, lyrical images and usually leave a lot of space for interpretation.
But this song I'm telling you is just about big tiddies! :D

Munich is a town since >860 years. We don't have a own kind of Lederhosen (Tracht).

The video was made in Austria. But Bavaria (where Munich and the Oktoberfest are located) is very similar to Austria in many ways. The clothes could be from Austria and from Bavaria (Germany). The clothes of the women are called "Dirndl".
In former times everybody was running around in Bavaira & Austria in clothes like that. Nowadays this kind of clothes are mostly worn to special happenings like religious processions and parties like the Oktoberfest and the competitions & parties of the local shooting clubs etc.
