You can use any power source, the thermostat contacts, the line power to your system, or adding its own dedicated power source. I think a dedicated 110v is ideal, but it may be easier to just power to the line power going to your unit if you want to avoid the thermostat terminals/leads.
Hi Zz, very much am pleased by your videos , sub-ed to the channel !! :) continue publishing more edits ! I too publish vlogs about travel in England and the UK !
The brushes only spin during the self clean cycle. If the green LED light is on, it is working. You can use the brown leads to connect a LED power indicator to provide you with status. I am connecting one just for my peace of mind. Its not like the unit makes any noise. You will pretty much only notice a lack of odors in your home. You may see an increase of dust on the floors.
Super helpful… bought the I-wave and wasn’t about to pay the HVAC guys 1k to install. Watching this made it a super easy install 🤙🤘
Please make sure to turn off power to the furnace prior to installation
Mine is installed on the bottom face of the open side of the blower motor.
Thanks man, my co worker wired it wrong and kept the blower going 🤦🏻♂️
You should install the black to the blower so it turn on when the flower is running. That is the G (blower) and not the R
I think it will only run when you just turn just the t-stat to “fan” if you wire to G
Can i connect this to a plug and plug it in to work? (plug into 120V)?

Thank you brother man

Do you notice any improvement with iwave-r installed?
How do you know it works? Do the brushes spin, or does just sit there ? And release itself.
It sits there. Light on unit comes on. Both the wife and I have noticed less dust build up already. Also cooking odors don't hang around as long.

The brushes are stationary. The bar spins and cleans the brushes. There's a clean button you can press to test and see how the bar cleans the brushes.
Where did you buy yours?
