100% spot on re ownership! They don’t get enough credit for living up too and supporting the winning culture that’s uniquely the WARRIORS! Congrats 👏👏👏
Draymond, klay, curry and Kerr have the best chemistry I have ever seen, they even took on kd and all sat 3rd wheeling
100%
We've been saying the same thing about these owners for 7 years now. Top class. Modern day San Antonio Spurs
ye they are like the Spurs cuz their future is bright too!
They are so much better then the spurs
Who owns the Spurs?
Outside of KD, Warriors built their team from the ground up by drafting. Gotta love it even if your not a fan.
I agree completely, I enjoy seeing teams build, stars staying with their teams, and those teams succeeding in an era of stars leaving to play with each other. I also agree that they didn't need KD, even though he made that team really scary.
Their 2015 Finals MVP wasnt drafted either.
@@gringoboy701 No team is made by strictly drafting lmao. Plus you can easily say that Curry shoulda won that one.
@@gringoboy701 lololol. Typically annoying kids in any arguments.
and that’s the difference between them and the lakers lol. haven’t drafted a star since kobe
I'm just glad looney is getting the credit and notice he deserves. Dudes a work horse, we're better off because of him.
Where would they be without looney smh
If Celtics win he gets exposed vs Horford and Williams
I don’t think so. They locked down Giannis and Looney is only 6’8. Outside of GS, nobody sees Looneys incredible work ethic for his team. He is a consummate professional and should be a Warrior for life
Looney averaged liike 5 Offensive rebounds a game, dude def helped a lot
Klay gets hot it’s over for everyone, Warriors a fortress at home and as long as that continues to the finals it’s there’s for the taking
The Warriors outside of the big 3 basically are guys nobody wanted. Gary Payton II signed as a free agent after being cut by multiple teams. People doubted him. People weren’t sure if Wiggins would ever be that #1 pick corner piece and felt he was overrated/overpaid as a timberwolve. Jordan Poole dropped late in the 1st and they scooped him. Moody, Kuminga came in and did their role as rookies on a championship mentality team. Otto Porter considered a “bust” being drafted top 3 overall and never panning out as a star. Kevon Looney being a late 1st round draft pick due to injuries. This management and ownership has definitely put this team together especially during their 15 win season. Took chances on guys nobody wanted and made it happen.
Edit: They also have James Wiseman and are getting him back next year. The Warriors are just stacked from top to bottom when healthy.
Kuminga could b a starter on any rebuilding team, dude is rlly good, but he can’t b given more minutes cus the teams already loaded
if im Kuminga I want to start I'll get my ring then try to get traded because like you say he should be a starter
@@antoinemims3952 he should wait out that rookie contract cause I see a step back from like draymond soon. He in perfect position to take his minutes and he play defense tooo
Honestly the way you are describing it is giving me real Moneyball vibes, in that sense that the front office and coaching staff were able to find undervalued players who fit together in a way that only those players could, to construct a squad that could be cultivated into a championship caliber team.
Agree with most of what you said, but Curry was someone everyone wanted. He was slated to go anywhere in the top 8. Teams like Minnesota truly blew it. Klay was also supposed to be a top 10 pick. Again, blown opportunity and finally, Porter was doing well and almost became an all-star before both he and Wall missed multiple seasons due to injury. Warriors management knows how to maximize potential!
"The next 5 years are mine"😂😭
it is tho dont sleep
He gotta come to the warriors
@@ruloez5587 I'm snoozing. If the Wolves are good, Pat Bev won't be there, count on it.
@@DL13650 they were good this year but CHOKED smh
"the next 5 years of SPORTS COMMENTATING are mine"
Andrew Wiggins has been the difference maker in these play-offs!!!
Sleeper MVP
He’s playing his role to perfection. He’s put in the work
It's the warriors way. It's the culture, It's the Bay!!! (BARS)
He's a superstar in his role which a lot of players failed to do for their team.
This just makes the KD bus rider comments even more valid they won before he got there and about to win after he left…..
And people rlly thought "kd won those rings" lmao he hasnt won anything without steph, klay and dray
@@smoek9458 and they only won one without KD
@@davidgaskins2589 and? What makes u think they cant win another one after the 2016 L to the cavs without kd?
@@smoek9458 what’s the Warriors fans deal with KD. It was funny to see him lose this year but the fact is he did help make them harder to beat even though they would be good without him. That’s kinda why people don’t like Warriors fans because they are just Curry fans.
@@datsapaddlin i dont dislike kd fam, i love love him as a matter of fact, i just dislike the narrative some fans push that the kd was the "sole reason" gsw won their back to back chips wherein this is untrue they were unbeatable precisely because kd joined an already amazing team in steph, klay and dray
The best thing about them is that they've somehow managed to keep their core, get them back from injuries at a good level, and not been reduced to a thin shell of cheap vets to complete the roster. They've got young talent developing well, and managed to get a low efficiency volume scorer in Wiggins incorporated perfectly and making the most of him.
Win or lose the championship this season, I want them to remain patient and ride out their core to the end, while continuing to develop their young guys, and not do any crazy high risk short term stuff like adding another aging star at the cost of killing their depth and youth.
Yea I think that's not talked about enough. The fact thay Dray, Klay, and Steph is still here after injuries for 3 years and got back to the finals and even still have Iggy off the bench. Very impressive if you ask me
Few thing tho. Andrew was never a low efficiency scorer he just played for the T Wolves and didn’t live up to first overall pick expectations or at least the expectations that were set on him. Remember this guy was being compared to lebron. And second I do give props to the warriors ownership but what people need to realize is their owners don’t believe in a salary cap. They have 4 players making over 100m and one making over 200m. Imagine if the thunder would have kept their core together of Durant Westbrook harden and ibaka. They could have been the same if not a better dynasty however they didn’t want to pay that deep into the luxury tax. Not taking anything away from the warriors because most of their talent is home grown however a lot of teams could be where they are if they were willing to shell out the bucks.
@Burgzzz I don't blame Andrew at all, he's a good player... But he was definitely low efficiency in Minnesota. He took a large number of difficult two pt jumpers, naturally his fg% was low.
With the warriors he gets more open catch and shoot situations than ever before, and because he's less tired and can show his accuracy, it gets ppl guarding him different so he can also drive and get close more. He's way more efficient with the warriors just from shot selection and not having to create his shot as much.
Also... There have been A LOT of extremely expensive NBA teams that were total shitshows.
I mean I wish wish okc had kept the crazy amount of young talent they had too. But most managers f up even when they have giant wallets to work with.
I don't have the stats and I'm too lazy to look it up, but I'd bet that most teams that have been in the same range of expensive as the warriors underperformed by a lot.
@@Burgzzzz They didn't have to shell that money out until after they had won titles and established themselves as a strong dominant team. If Thunder had won the title against the Heat I think they would have had to pay Harden
@@v312ym34n_is_very_mean I can’t think of any team ever to be as expensive as the warriors are. I guess you can say the Lebron Heat were close but still it was only three of them breaking the bank not four. And Wiggins percentages were not terrible with the Wolves he just didnt turn the franchise around like everyone expected him to. He also plays more inspired defense with the warriors. Tbh he’s only a slightly different player with the warriors because of spacing and their system. The fact that he is playing on a winning team with championship pedigree on a big stage people are saying things like “he turned his career around.” Nobody watched Minnesota. Everyone just assumed he was a bust because he was putting up empty stats on a losing team. I know this because the wolves are my brothers team and I would watch them from time to time
Game 6 Klay decided to showed up in game 5
Warriors management really knows what they're doing. I mean PatBev is right, most teams breakup their core whenever some key players much more a star player like Klay when injury hits them. But GS ownership were patient, calm and invested on their talents. That's why they're successful.
Steve Kerr only knows success in the nba. He has lived in the finals
GSW culture is amazing, you got the right-hand man Draymond pushing everyone ensuring everyone working their butts off, while Steph is the big man but he makes everyone feel safe and backed as long as you are on the same page as everyone else, and sets an extraordinary example for everyone, then you have Klay, who is just as good of a scorer as Steph but he knows his role, he's willing to guard the best player on the other team, he's willing to not dribble the ball and just shoot corner 3s, that in itself sets a very important example for the young players, that you don't have to be the alpha to be great and recognized
And the dumbest ownership award to the OKC owner for not paying Harden 5M over 4 years the year they got to the finals.
Shout out to the Timberwolves.. they passed on Curry twice in that draft, and they gave Golden State Wiggins and the pick that turned out to be Kuminga for Dlo. Thanks!
Remember when Bev said that the warriors had "a good run" as if it was over but good luck to them in beating the Celtics

Klay got 5 years max contract after two major injures. Other teams would have had ‘wait and see’ attitude.
That's one thing I can agree with Bev about and it's giving the entire GSW franchise a ton of love and admiration
The Warriors drafted most of the current team. We home grown
Say it louder !!!
You don't break a diamond when it is looking rustic..... You keep it and polish it until it gets back the glow. That is what the organization did. Keeping the teammates together for two years until Klay returned and not trading is a sign of what strength in numbers mean..... We stay together through all downfalls
Team win!! Like it supposed to be, not individuality.
Love seeing my boy Pat bev up here he ain’t cutting no corners
I think the bucks have a warriors type front office 💜💯 it's so important having trust between front office and star player
Agreed. Honestly if Middleton wasn’t out, they probably had a good chance to be in the Finals
@@topbackpodcast2615 facts
Timing is everything
This why the lakers r where they r they blew up their team too quickly without seeing what they can do when fully healthy smh
They did win a chip though. Keeping those young pieces was no guarantee of chips. Lakers biggest mistake was getting rid of most of their critical role players when they won the chip, then bringing Westbrook who is an awful fit for them, and aging stars like Melo.
Jerry Reinsdorf would have broken that team up 3 years ago like he did the Bulls in the 90's. Props to Warrior ownership for spending the money.
A bit off topic, but when I see the Warriors going to the Finals 6 out of the last 8 years and losing 2 already, it just makes me that more impressed with the Bulls dynasty during the 90s
And the fact they retooled before the second 3peat. Only Jordan and Pippen remained as players from the 1st repeat.
Flipping DLO for Wiggins will go down as one of the shrewdest moves in NBA history. I won’t say it was a bad trade as I think Minnesota has gotten better since the trade as well.
Good take from Pat
This is the same clown that said the Warriors were finished after KD left.
A lot of ppl said that
Pat goin Jerry Krause on us 😂😂😂
Give Pat Beverly a raise!
He actually knows what he is ialking about!

The crazy part of that finals appearance stat is that Lebron went to 9 of 10 finals with 3 different teams. Wild to think about.
Exactly 😂
Lmaoo Pat it ain’t Christmas 😂🤣
I literally can't hear anything over Pat Bev's shirt...

Ownership is more important than any single player
They gave them the gentleman's sweep
Moody been putting in work
Pat is a real one. I cannot stand him, but he is a good/great basketball analyst. The Warriors ownership has done an outstanding job. Go Warriors!
6 straight finals for Klay T
Didn’t even think about that, lol.
its crazy how lebron went to 8 straight finals with 2 different orgs. 2018 bron was def different.
Gonna be a tough series for both teams but I think it’s gonna be tougher for Klay having to guard Tatum or Brown than having to put up 18+ on the other end. I was amazed watching Boston play this year and how Tatum and Brown could go 40+ minutes every night lol btw Miami was my pick coming out the east.
If Klay doesn’t average 4 threes a game GS losing this series in my opinion.
Don't nobody forget it all started with Mark Jackson. Give that man another shot in the NBA he assembled a dynasty

Ownership is absolutely a factor. Warriors have an insane repeater tax luxury bill and they don’t care. It’s going to be higher once Poole gets resigned.
how much does teams generate after they win a championship?
@@antoinemims3952 Every Playoffs at home, they generate $millions I heard.
They have generated an estimated 72 million till now .

You cannot takeaway anything from Warriors - they deserved this win!!!
Curry Is The Best In Da NBA and He’s Been Showing What Hes Made Of ☄️☄️☄️☄️☄️
That stat about Vince is wrong. Lebron also has a 1000 dunks and 2000s 3 pointers made.

Where are the people that said "Luka in 4"
after being up against the Cavs. Then the following two seasons the Warriors add KD and beat the Lebron cavs (one year without Kyrie) with kd. That’s 5 all stars on the team (IGGY past his prime but still was a big time player. Even now is a formidable defensive player and clutch scorer) Now after KD and Klay are injured Curry loses to the Kawhi lead Raptors. Then kd leaves and warriors can’t make the playoffs or the play in even when curry when’s the scoring title in 2021. That matters. Warriors this year went up against the Nuggets, Grizzlies and Mavericks. The Nuggets had no Murray or MPJ. The Grizzlies at first didn’t have Steven Adams and then later on Ja Morant gets injured. The Mavs legit just had Luka essentially. It doesn’t take anything away from the warriors but I’m just annoyed with people not calling them a big 3. Curry, Klay, Draymond. Iggy is now past his prime. You had Wiggins make the all star team. Poole has emerged. The team is pretty stacked and has been since 2015.
Dubs got a #2 overall pick in Wiseman that will be taking the floor next season and then it’s at least another chip or 2. I wouldn’t be surprised if curry ended up with 6 chips when it’s all said and done
How Steve pull that off
I’m just here looking for the comments that say Steph needed KD more than KD needed Steph
Windhorst so cheese. Always got his mic up to his lips even when not talking lmao
It's about luck I remember steph first 2 years didn't think he was going to make now he's in 6 finals in 8 years 100 % because of owner and GM.
Because of his health. He was always the best shooter. It's also called building a team. Having an eye for talent. 6 finals in 8 years isn't luck, it's skill.
Of course you have a finals team when your paying that crazy amount of luxury tax.
If u know me you'd know I saw this coming, I called it. The Boston celtics vs Golden state warriors in the finals. I got the boys in green.👁
So now Bron ain’t do that? Media weird.
The biggest takeaway will ALWAYS be Wardell Stephen "Steph" Curry II
Curry should’ve never allowed snake to join them. The 2 years snake jumped on the wagon , it took away curry’s shine. Curry could’ve gone down as one of the very best , even better than lebron had he stayed with the original squad. Instead he let snake jump on his bus and now snake has the credit for two of curry’s rings. When in reality he didn’t need “the help”.
Pat bev had 2 right in my book
When James Wiseman comes back….. another dynasty incoming💙💛💙💛
Hopefully he doesn't turn out a Greg Oden 🙏🏾
Hopefully he is more Embiid (he missed his entire first two seasons with injury but is now an mvp level player) than Oden and gets healthy and reaches his potential. Kuminga and Moody also have potential, so if they all develop, this dynasty has legs.
teams have did but LeBron has did it without staying on the same team for 8 season In a row
Yes, but let’s not compare Golden States Front office to Cleveland’s. Cleveland literally wouldn’t build around Lebron the first time around, any player would get out of that situation.
BY HIMSELF!!!!THE MF GOAT
Lebron does give you a championship when he first arrives, but he is a team cancer. He comes gets a championship but in the process he has destroyed the teams ability to repeat by being a shadow general manager, then he skips town. Lakers will never make conference finals long as he on team.
@@lokineverfolds Dont blame the Clev front office. Blame lebron for want certain players that HE wanted but not fit the tam and getting role players paid too much to attract other stars. He he stayed like Steph and Giannas, this would not be a convo
What happened to Pat Bev's claim bout it being his time now?
Is there am option to just listen to somebody you want yo listen to on every youtube clip? I'd like hear pat bev and carter, no other clowns please
What is Patrick Beverly WEARING ?
Man, to be the Twolves and to have passed on Curry twice....Jesus Christ

Without injury dubs woulda won every single time too. People have a hard time swallowing that truth
OWNERSHIP! Soon as Cohen sold the team, the Warriors started winning!
Vince Carter need some water lol
Let’s argue about it, the ownership of the warriors >>>>>> the spurs ownership
Didn’t Lebron go to the finals 8 times in a row?
Wiggins and poole were steals with klay coming back.
ey Bev the next 5 years can be yours if u join the warriors, never enough defense
Should’ve showed lebron on that list 0:50
