Good video, but to be honest I kinda disagree with how a lot of your items were made. I'm sure they work for you, but I'd do these a different way (for context, I've been profit crafting RF jugg gear for a couple leagues now, and made a few mirrors doing it): Shield: +2 max res fractures are really expensive. Really, really expensive. Instead, I'd buy a fractured fire/minion damage (if Spiritual Aid) fracture on a pure INT shield. Then, it's the patented RF Alt/Aug spamming time! Spam for the +2 max all res we're looking for and regal. We want a good suffix but it's not necessary. If you hit a prefix, use Farric Lynx Alpha to make it a suffix, and then slam an exalted orb and FLA again if it's a prefix. Now that all of the suffixes are filled, we can use a Wild Bristle Matron to add "Suffixes Can't be Changed" and Harvest Reforge Fire. This will add +1 fire every time and craft life ~90% of the time. This is cheaper than your method by a decent bit, and guarantees Fire/Minion Dmg, +1 fire, Life(ish), and +2 max all res. For rings, I would almost never use fractured life. It's pretty expensive and we can use Wild Bristle Matron + Veiled Chaos to get 56-60 nearly every time. Instead, I'd buy a fractured resistance or Dex mod and use Essence of Anger with either ele dmg/resist catalysts. Once you hit your 3rd good suffix you can just use WBM + Veiled Chaos, block mana and unveil max life ~90% of the time, and craft damage. Dot Multi essences are good, but the last suffix is still too valuable most of the time, and we want to invest most of our currency into Weapon(s), Helm, and Ammy. I generally agree with your Helm method, but I'll note that if you hit Burning Damage, Wild Bristle Matron + Veiled Chaos for +2aoe is an option very worth mentioning. I know your Belt method works for you but I really wouldn't suggest it. If you're not going for shock avoid/stormshroud (you should!) you generally want to use Life fossils for good max life, %max life, regen, etc. If you are going for 100% shock avoid (at least to drop Tempest Shield, or go Stormshroud if you can) you have to use Deafening Torment, so not much I can add there. Similarly to your Belt method, there are better options for a Weapon. Rune Daggers are a somewhat obscure but powerful option. You can buy DoT Multi fractures for much cheaper than a +1 sceptre, and roll it for +1 or even +2 on a very reasonable budget, using Minion Dmg essences (if Spiritual Aid), Scorched Fossils, or +2 with metamod stuff. Spicysushi made a great video on the most expensive version, but you can do much cheaper variations too. Note that the implicit is actually about equal to %ele damage on sceptres so long as you take the Elemental Overload notable, which gives us huge Fire Trap damage when bossing. Amulets definitely need a dedicated guide to them, there are like 5 viable options of varying price ranges, viability, etc.
I considered Minion/Fire shields, but they were 4-5 div, and +2 fracture was 3 Div so at the time it was the cheaper option. The next best was to get a fractured life shield (very cheap, but semi-annoying to craft) and alt -> regal to get 100+ life and the +2 all then metacraft, (or use fossils to hit +3% Max fire / Fire dmg and metacraft for +1). For rings, I paid 50c for one, and 1 div for the other fracture. At those prices it was more efficient to do that. I'm not sure why you mention Dex though as that's a dead suffix for RF builds. You should be getting all your dex from a crucible node and do not want it on gear. But if fractures become less available over time then I'd go with Chaos Res or possibly try using a vermillion base and roll it for fire damage + chaos res (no fracture). Similarly to the ring method, you do not want shock avoid on your belt, this comes from a crucible tree passive + jewel in your stygian. You can definitely use life fossils for regen instead but this will result in less that you can resell because chaos damage is extremely valuable due to the popularity of doom blast and toxic rain. Keep in mind, part of the reason I did this the way I did was to sell spares and hit as broad a market as possible. Sceptre wise, if you're going for a simple +1, DoT multi or Fire DoT multi is probably the way to go, but for +1/+1 I'd definitely still start with the +1 all fracture for overall reliability. Using EO and rune daggers is going to look very good in pob, or on poeninja, but in practice doesn't help that much due to unreliable uptime. I tried it for a bit and very quickly dropped EO because it was barely up when I needed it.
@@Tenkiei decent points on the Dex/shock avoid, but you should probably mention those decisions specifically when talking about those crafts. A lot of people are mostly ignoring the crucibles, especially when they're using a fractured item. I'm definitely surprised compared to how bad the fracture prices are now (minion damage is only ~1div for decently high), much better decisions compared to today's market lol. EO is definitely only reliable when bossing, but I've found it pretty easy to scale high enough that most anything is dead/phased by the time EO might wear off, even on relatively low budgets. It's certainly not like we need the clear damage.
Yep, the market's always changing and for most of these crafts you have a lot of options! (the only notable exception here being helmets where your only choices are horror and fossils...and fossils are a terrible decision). Edit: Given how much power Crucible offers I'm genuinely shocked to hear most people are ignoring them. Feels like hearing most people run around on a 4-link! either way, options are always good so I've pinned your comment!
Such a nice video, although I love PoE and have thousands of hours in it, I ALWAYS struggled to craft good items and make money, this video ends up covering the two topics and in a super nice manner too, thank you very much. I'm enjoying a lot of your content for PoE in this league.

How are you able to not loose Mana? I'm sorry I'm new to the game . Thanks for your guide. I'm played RF aswell and having a blast but I have barely any mana left after the auras.
I have basically no mana on my RF character, but that's solved by linking pretty much all the active skills that use mana to lifetap so they cost life instead, and you have more than enough life regen to sustain the cost, plus get a neat damage increase if you use it as a support for RF/fire trap(lvl1 lifetap on movement and utility skills to get the buff easier, and max lvl lifetap on damage skills to get the most damage while the buff is active)
@@drakeshotlp5633 im missing the last ascend for double body armor too. That would help lol. I have legacy of fury and aegis aurora but my bodyarmor has only 300armor lol. I needed a cheap 6 socket 5link xD. And im level 83. Im positive that it will work in some time
The only thing I don't recommend you craft is the amulet. Also, the rings if you want good rolls + DOT multi. (Those can be a real bitch because the mats are expensive and/or fractures bases) But the amulet is the real kick in the ass to get good rolls with a +1 fire skill gems. I blew 7 divines worth of essence of anger on that before I said, "F this" and just blew another divine on catalysts to get an adequate, but still unsatisfactory roll of a fractured 23% DOT, +1 fire gems, and like 40% fire res and some crappy fire attack roll. The base already cost me a divine with the fracture. But I'll tell you what. Absolutely nothing matches the power of switching your Righteous Fire to a good helmet, + the craft that increases the level of socketed AOE gems, +Awakened elemental focus with +1 to gem level. My RF went from ~470k DPS in the body to ~650k in the helmet, (With a JUICY 10% area of effect increase with the craft) plus my fire trap went to 1 million when socketed in the body which rips through high end bosses with a whisper of doom anoint. Hardest thing about RF is finding those Dex rolls though. That's the true struggle. Especially if you don't want to blow two skill points on two dex nodes. And on that note of skill points, if you can find yourself a medium cluster jewel (or craft it) that has "Master of Fire" then get that shit, it's a big damage increase too. Only do that if you have a good large fire damage cluster jewel, though.
@@Tenkiei I've had horrible luck getting an exposure on hit with my gloves. I keep getting lightning or cold, so it's not so bad with the cluster jewel because I also get two nodes that increase my area of effect, which feels really good. But when I do finally get the damn glove roll, I'll take it off.

8,5 divs now for a fractured shield base with 2% max res
