"Pointing at the heart centre is like pointing at the electricity meter" ( Anamali Swami) - Anamali 3xplaining the fallacy of pointing to the alleged area of the body through which awareness/ consciousness enters the body, staring at the meter will reveal nothing about electricity. Similarly, focusing on the brain is like focusing solely on the circuitry of the TV set.

Profound reminder. I met Douglas Harding at one of his 'No Head' experiential talks. Simple yet not so when we forget and get trapped by conditioned mind stuff.

I have watched many of his lectures - one in Austrailia in 1991 springs to mind. What a treat to have met him in person!

The sufi tradition has the saying: "These are the eyes through which God sees." This remains only as the divine possibility until we realize what this UA-cam channel describes as the nature of "the I before I am". This is what he here in the video he describes from 8:07 to the end at 9:38.

Lovely. I'm much immersed at the moment in meditations on the words of Sri Nisargadatta and this appeared in my UA-cam feed. Non-dual teachings are profound. Perhaps we're ready for them. I wish you well.

I'm the space behind my eyes. Well, so what ? How is that going to make any difference to our everyday life and problems ?

No. Speaking like that, its clear you havent experienced it, with all due respect🙏. First, experience it and then see if this question makes sence to you. Try to ask this question coming from this space behind your eyes. You'll be surprised how ridiculous its sound to you 😊

@@davidcervenka6464 No I haven't experienced it, David. And I don't feel capable of experiencing it.
I assume you're alluding to meditating ? Well I doubt very much that that would "work" for me, because I have tried something similar in hypnosis and self hypnosis, and they did nothing for me. I just stayed blank. 😔
