16:32 I sold my Talaria to get my motorcycle license, I got tired of range anxiety and playing in nyc traffic w/o cars being able to hear me. I am currently breaking my brain trying to find the best “beginner bike” smh. Used bikes are overpriced now bc it’s summer in nyc, and ppl say I shouldn’t buy new to start. I saw a nice 250cc👀 cheapo ($2500otd) naked bike in one of those scooter shops. My buddies who ride said they would disown me if I bought it lol. I’m tempted to get a 25 grom and make some new grom buddies lol. Sorry for the essay 😬
Yea, I'd have to agree with your buddies! Save up a little and get reliable motorcycle, especially for your first bike. Last thing you want is to spend most of your time fixing it, and not be able to get parts when it breaks down. Groms are fun, but won't give you the full experience. Really depends on what you want to use it for.
As for new vs used, I always go new for the simple fact that whatever I buy will be covered by factory warranty, and I don't have to deal with haggling with some guy in a garage. I'm not technically savvy enough to fix up an old bike that needs a ton of work. Wish you the best of luck in your search!

Do you have the low seat height accessory?
I used it for about a week or two, and then switched back. It changes the ergonomics.
@@TheRiceRocketeer do they only change the seat or they mess with the suspension too??
They just change the seat. You can buy it yourself, you don't need them to do it for you. It's jsut the lower position really changes how you are pitched (less aggressive)
