I've been pickin' for over 60 years. I've seen Carlos Montoya , Sara Carter, Leo Kottke, Luther Perkins, Keith Richards, John Denver, Peter Yarrow, Paul Stookie and Jerry Garcia live. I've listened to recordings of Django Reinhart, Doc Watson, Chuck Berry, Willie Nelson, Andres Segovia, John Williams, Christopher Parkening and videos of Paola Hermosin. But when I see a child giving such a STUNNING MASTERPIECE like this, I don't know whether to practice 18 hours every day, or get rid of all my guitars and gitfiddles and take up the washtub bass.
Unglaublich, was dieser hochbegabte Junge drauf hat!👏👏👍👍👍👍👍! Wunder, wunderschön!! Mit diesem Alter schon den dritten Mann so perfekt zu spielen, ist für mich ein Wunderkind!! Vielen Dank!🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
As Salieri proclaimed in Amadeus, "It was beyond belief." If you haven't seen "The Third Man" you should: 1) to see how exquisitely the young Sungha plays the theme music 2) to see a great film
Wow, this little guy just owns that piece and that instrument. I think what impresses me most over the talent is how comfortable he is playing something so tricky. He's paying attention to what he's doing, sure, but he doesn't look stressed or like he's feeling any pressure, just playing for fun. Makes me a little sad to think of kids who have similar skill in gaming but may look at music as a hugely difficult concept, or just too hard (and I have nothing against video games).
That was so wonderful it brought a tear to my eye. A beautiful rendition of a beautiful tune by a beautiful child -- What's not to love? Anton Karas would be proud of him.
Should have known it would be a musician as good as you to play this beautiful song. One of my all time favorites and played beautifully! Thank you Sungha!!
This ranks right up there with my favorite version by Ruth Welcome. It is still mysterious, romantic, eerie and captivating tune. I think of my parents and being very little when hearing this.
I am not jealous at this boy's skill in playing the guitar, I salute him and he motivates me to practice. BUT I am jealous of any fingerstyle guitar player who can remember so many beautiful songs, just playing them from memory
So Smooth and well played that could be the New Theme music for the movie "The Third Man", even though Sungha would not exist at all when the movie was,62 years ago, in 1949. Thanks Sungha!!!
Really adored the original zither music by Anton Karas that was used in the film, but this little guy is just amazing. Thank you so very much for posting
Put all his videos into Your "Play List" and you won't be sorry. It's around one or two hours of musical bliss. Almost impossible to believe, but, here it is.
Posting this vid to one of his fan-site in Korea, Sungha wrote "I know that this is the OST of a movie made in 1949, but has not seen it. ^^ The original composer of this song is Mr. Anton Karas(Zither). The version arranged by Kotaro gives me a feeling of dance music and it's glad to play."
I listened this theme played by a lot of other artists but I have tell, that this young man is playing it the best. no one else is playing it so clear, precise and right ritm. it is realy fun to listen.
Truely awesome skill demonstrated in a wonderful rendition of this fantastic piece of timeless music, you are a superb musician, thanks so much for sharing this!
i smile and clap whenever i here young Jung's performance here. the arrangement by Oshio is quite good, faithful to the original, yet with some innovations in spots. thank you to the two of them for sharing!

The impeccably clean notes, and perfectly timed meter by this guitarist make this version of The Third Man theme , the best on guitar.
den kann man immer wieder ansehen...
reinhören + weitersagen...großes Kino...
The master, Anton Karas, smiles.

und dann auch noch auf der Gitarre!!! Und nicht auf der Zitter, chapeau!
Beautiful! I love how he is relaxed 'in his music' as he gently leans back and forth! Bravo!
