You are holding it right up to the ceiling though. Does it project a clear image if it is lower, say on a cupboard?

We bought this for our daughter. Unfortunately, if you place it lower, the image on the ceiling is completely blurry, which means the product is completely useless. Luckily we bought online so we can return it.
