A Sir i agree with you so much. This is my first time watching any of his covers, and I really enjoyed it. It's obvious that Spanish is not his strong language and he still managed to sing Daddy Yankee's verse with ease and clarity and at the same speed DY sings it. There's other youtube artist that speak Spanish fluently or they do alot of Spanish covers and still didn't sing DYs verse. Plus I think DYs verse gives the song more spark.

I am very impressed, though, with how well he did this as a non-Spanish speaker (particularly the rap because it goes by hella fast)

He might just be good at pronouncing other languages. I was really good at French and was able to learn and sing a French version of 'I Dreamed a Dream'. Maybe it's to do with being able to hear the slight differences?
He's not exactly fluent, but he does do a good job trying. Learning a language takes time, but learning how to sing a song in a foreign language takes less time.
