Perfect video on this figure, including transformation both ways and how to do modification improvements, plus a thorough comparison with the version it copies. One of the best video reviews I have seen.
The designed the small parts on the head for the 2 specific modes. 1. the delivery state without modifications is battlemask on, helmet horns closed and the small parts turned inwards. However, in this state you can simply remove the battle mask, mount the mouth face and open the horns for a little less movie akkurate detail. 2. second option is to remove the battery cover, unscrew the head and remove the small parts and put them back in upside down. (the right piece is for the left part, and the left for the right) to flip them over and reassemble everything, put the mouth face in and open the big horns. Then you have the full accurate look with the restriction that the horns no longer close for the battle mask version. the modification you made to the small parts for the hole to turn around work only conditionally because if the parts are accurately attached and you just turn them backwards WITHOUT changing the sides, the helmet no longer closes. Becasue that the parts are not equivalent to each side they if you just turn them, they must be removed despite modification, replace the sides and attach correctly. If you do not do that, the helmet no longer closes. This conversation I had with one from the factory it is not the best solution but generally speaking the delivery state is best without having to change much. The main problem is the light feature in the eyes. The BS-03 Optimus prime figure has been given up features with the battlemask and they directly give 2 sperate heads with it. Option 2 is only if you really want to have only without battle mask display. But they don't give that in the instructions which is a bit incomprehensible with this process. I hope it is understandable enough too. If something unclear please reply!
I always though the UT version seemed too big for me. I love the resize of the BS release. I have never really cared much for the live action Megatron alt modes, so I have actually never transformed and movie Megs I own.

Honestly, i would have liked it more if they just downsized and added more weathering to it and didnt remove the mask feature. Although, that light feature looks stunning!
UT has the better paint job and a slimmer look despite being taller, BS however has more detail and looks wider thanks to its decreased size even tho both figures might have the same width, height plays a good role in making the figures look slim or buff

An unparalel level of review... conggrats you did it again. the plot is perfect. but the most i like is how you make a really2 great pose with the figure. so so cool! note: i still do not like this knight megatron version. what is the essence for him to transform from modern jet into old knight form. its not cool.. and kind of absurd. especially because megatron hate human... so why he want to transform him self into one?? the other reason im not buy it because my optimus and another megatron collection are the oversizes. it makes this one too small for the others.

I have both, but while bs01 megs were more screen accurate, I like the sleek design of unique toys. Its feel 'human knight' compare to bs01 which have to much decoration. Also bs01 plastic feel kinda cheap compare to unique toys
Normal glue yes, but the UV glue is hard after it is cured by UV light, that is why I suggested using UV glue on this modification. Moreover, it also can be removed easily and re-do again if any mistake.
I got it from my reguler toys supplyer, but I belive you and get it on any online toys selling platform too. Pls share and thanks again for supporting!!

I really want to get the BS Megatron but like you have displayed, it takes lots of Modifications to make it perfect and I don’t have the confidence to do those mods on a figure I already spent lots of money on 😅. Hi @JoJo, To be honest, I don't know if you can find anyone who can do it for you but the modifications are not difficult, the more you do it the more you will get better. We are mainly modifying the inside joints, even though if you screw up, it may not see from the outside. As long as you be careful with the neck part modification, and other parts just following the directions in my video will be good. All the best and have fun with it!! Doesnt the pressure push of the layers of glue you use for the joints?
