Any good comedian will do that, just shows he’s made for it! I think you need to pick on yourself to be a comedian, it certainly gives you some easy content

My mate back in high school days was diagnosed around 13 or 14, he eventually got a pump and it still makes me smile the relief it gave him and how much happier he became, im stoked the tech is taking huge leaps to make it easier and less stressfull for diabetics

it’s so reassuring to see type one diabetes being spoken about on this platform for once, i hope more people will be educated on the condition because as a kid the stigma behind it can be more damaging than people think. props to Ed tho making light out of the condition love to see it❤️

I was diagnosed Type 1 at 18 months old, after catching a bug in hospital. First in my family. Having grown up with it, i know no different, but i find it as a blessing, which keeps me from eating bad foods and living a healthy, & normal life. I have had many times where ive struggled and been taken to hospital, but this is on extremely rare occasions, & I continue to do things every other person can do
I was diagnosed with type 1 just after my 23rd birthday last year and already being a fan of Ed and watching him talk about type 1 diabetes definitely made me feel a little more comfortable with having it, awesome seeing him talk about it on the podcast as well

Love seeing this, I’ve been a diabetic 13 years since yesterday, it’s not the hardest thing in the world but it’s definitely not the easiest at times, it’s nice that it’s reaching audiences that maybe don’t quite understand it. So thank you for having Ed on and Charley in the past

Hey, I don't know about the ins and outs of your deal but a lot of fans would agree with me in saying we'd love for the videos versions on Spotify as it has so much more of a mate vibe to it like how Joe rogan has it. I was diagnosed when I was 2 years old, I started giving myself injections at the age of 4. This April will be 18 years with T1D.
When Ed talks about hypos and doing weird shit, I relate too much 🤣 I went low a few years ago, I went downstairs got two pieces of whole meal bread and HP brown sauce and made a brown sauce sandwich. I had no clue I was doing what I was doing until my mum came downstairs and was like “what are you doing?” 🤣🤦🏼♀️
Although, on the serious side, I’ve had two hypo seizures, one when I was 14 and one in May 2020 when I was 18. Not fun waking up on the bathroom floor surrounded by my parents and paramedics telling me I had a seizure and saying I’ve got an oxygen mask on my face because I went slightly blue 🤦🏼♀️

Cheers to your sister and tell her to keep her head up. I was diagnosed at 9. "Do you want mum to do your injections or do you want to". I grabbed the needle. Mum has only had to use the glucose needle when I'm sick
My elderly father who is diabetic had a hypo episode and called me on the phone. He was acting neo bizarrely that I thought he was having a stroke or something and I raced over to his house. He was acting completely stupid. Its truly bizarre to witness a hypo episode.

One time after a long long bike ride my blood sugar dropped when I was going to bed, at the time I was sharing a room with my brother and me and him were in the room and I started whispering to him tell mum and dad my bloods are low and saying random things which i couldn't remember. my mum and dad treated me and once i came around i literally couldn't remember anything of what happened 10 minuets earlier

The only time I've gone hypo, I just fainted. And everything went black.

That is the Dexcom one, NHS only let you have that if you stuggle with hypos, if you don't you can get the Libre
I'm a type 1 diabetic I dont tell anyone because people just assume your un healthy and really ignorant about it. I welcome jokes about it but it's not as funny when the person has no idea on what there actually saying 😅
