- Join us for a Day at the 2023 York State Fair in York Pa. We will walk around look at the food, a circus and the World Famous Porkchop Review. Also if you want to stick around and watch The Sunset Tour featuring Quiet Riot-Stephen Pearcy of Ratt-Vince Neil of Motley Crue. Thanks for showing us around the York State Fair. We had to watch the pig show twice because Henry enjoyed it so much. The hoagies looked delicious and the cakes decorations were really impressive. The $2 tea is a bargain. The TN State Fair charges $5-$6 minimum for drinks. We got a frozen sweet tea that was $8 last year. We especially enjoyed the concert at the end. 70s/80s rock and country are our 2 favorite genres of music. Thanks for another excellent video. Y’all have us excited for the fair season.
Guys they had such a great food menu but it was so hot we stuck with less filling items. They had a burger that was huge but knew I couldn’t eat it so I didn’t get it. Prices were reasonable especially on that Tea. Love the fairs will do more and hope to see some from you guys because we really enjoy your videos.😎😎

I have lived in Pennsylvania most of my life and I have never heard of this fair. Very nice fair. I am very familiar with the Bloomsburg Fair, held in late September. Bloomsburg Fair is the largest Agricultural Fair in Pennsylvania. Great vlog, looking forward to your final vlog from Knoebels.
I have lived in Pennsylvania for 62 years I never heard of the York Fair. The Bloomsburg Fair and the Allentown Fair are very popular, and the Kutztown Fair.
Hope to put that video out next weekend. We filmed so much will have to edit a lot out of it. Bloomsburg Fair sounds amazing.😎😎

Wonderful video and review. I, too, have never heard of or been to York State Fair. You're correct in saying it's huge. And the food. How do you decide what to try with so many options? You guys have some of the best videos I’ve seen and this one is outstanding and a favourite for me so far. I enjoyed watching the pork chop show and the acrobatic act. Everything was amazing and so many options of food to choose from. Prices very reasonable for everything. Love state fairs and brings me back to my childhood and what is a fair without an Elvis. Reminds me of his two fair movies.❤️

York Fair is older than both NC Pitt County Fair and NC State Fair.

It's a great time of year. for fairs.The food looked great but my friend went to.our fair Barnstable County spent 12.00 for a sausage sandwich. ouch. I guess fair food is high they pay alot to attend with trailer like 2500 here but depends where you locate close to bandstand.I loved the vegetable cake.The Charlie Daniels hat brought back.memories Miss Charley alot.

I'm not a whoopie pie fan. 4 States take claim to inventing the whoopie pie. Some say the Amish invented them but others say they were invented by Farmers wives in the state of Maine. To me it doesn't matter since I don't eat them, they taste low-quality to me. My jam is New York cheesecake, or that delicious cannoli you just had for $2 which was a bargain. 👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🌹

You guys go to the best fairs i'd choose those over amusement parks because the prices on the food seem a little cheaper and i will definitely visit this one because of the $10 and $2 price

You are in my neck of woods. I live 30 minutes from the York Fairgrounds. I am in Ocean City, MD for the week. Sat., 8-5-23 heading to Dollywood for the last weekend of Summer Fest.
I had gone to the York Fair like 8 years in a row way back in the 80's to 90's to see Alan Jackson.

Great video you two. I’ve lived in Philly for 25 years and have never heard of the fair. We visit the Ren feast and others in the state, but this was really worth visiting. You’re is no more then two hours away from Philly plus throw in Lancaster would make a great couple of days.

Here in Ma. our version of a state fair is called The Big E. We love it. I will say York State Fair looked awesome. Looking forward to our weekend visit to the Wild and Wonderful WV in a couple weeks to visit friends. God bless.

Hello folks. There's a small Italian restaurant about ten miles north of the fair in Dover called Moonlight Cafe i highly recommend if you ever get back this way lol! wishing you very safe travels.

Quiet Riot was probably my first favorite band when I was a little girl. I loved Ratt in middle school, too. That was pretty awesome. The fair looked like a lot of fun (and tasty food).

I live in York. The fair scaled down a bit. It use to be held in September. When it moved to July it has lost favor with some locals. I'm told they will go back to September in 3 years.

If you haven't yet, you need to go to the Canfield Fair in Canfield, Ohio. It takes all 6 days to see everything and eat everything you want. It starts the Wednesday before through Labor Day.

Good afternoon John and Bobby enjoy the fire some of the food was pretty reasonable on price I'd say probably four years ago we was coming back from a vacation pulled over at a rest area there was two big tour buses parked it was Vince Neil we got to get his autograph and selfie he has had a lot of face-work done he kind of message self up your next time take care

Summer fairs are the best! The Jersey State fair starts soon. Always a must do. It was a little shock to the system seeing those rock bands after so many years. It really makes it hit home we ain’t young kids anymore!😂 See you on the next adventure!!

The Grange Fair in PA has a 149 year history. It is very unique and has lodging options including 1000 tent spaces ( many permanent and rented by same families for generations) and1500 rv spaces. This takes place in Centre Hall near State College.

This fair I’ve goin since I was a kid and how terrible they move it to July! That $2 was just a promotional day. This fair has a lot less less stands than early years! Lots of seniors won’t go anymore. The same seniors who worked there when it was better in September, americas oldest fair is not what it used to be. Sorry to say. Wish they’d bring it back to cooler days. This is a carnival.

The phone made them all sound not nearly as good. Stephen was our favorite also. Quiet Riot was good but miss Kevin. Stephen was always a screamer and not a singer but does it so well. He did a meet and greet for $100 after show and signed 3 items and a picture with him. Vince just can’t hit the high parts anymore and hard to understand. But he did sound decent at this show compared to others. Thanks for watching 😎😎

Looks like a fun day out. You both get around pretty good. A lot of really great food choices. The oyster sandwich was a perfect choice since oysters are your jam. The Ice-T was a bargain for $2.
