Amazing! I just think it's perfect as it is... It's almost like if I'm there with you speaking about padel, there is no a better way to enjoy a padel cast! Congrats and keep it that way! 👍👏
Hello Sven, nice to see another video! Thanks a lot! Hope to see you once again. I stil got a video of you when you were about 8 years old, when you played tennis In Monster (MLTV'90). Greetings Andy Blom 😃
I love when you are together , two great personalities ! Thanks a lot to share it with us ! German explain a way of playing padel So cool , big fan of it 👌
Love this format Sven, your videos are really the best padel content to be found online, and the knowledge of German is just amazing. All the topics he listed at the end would be very interesting, but for me I would really like to get into tactics to understand how/what good players think while playing and why they do what they do. Keep up the good work!
That was a really nice podcast, German has trained me only twice and I improved a lot. Learnt a few things here as well! Padcast format was really nice, laid back with some humour and the topics spoken about actually made you think. More like this please! The mental side of the game is interesting to listen to.
German and Sven - Awesome content as always. I would certainly love to see/listen more to tactical content, tactical drills to do with my partner. Obvious names: SmashCast SvEnCast :)
First of all, my proposal "Vamoscast !!!" And second, my congratulations for the type of padel content you make and how you make it. I love your classes about tactics, technique, mistakes... They are in the exact level, amateurs need to learn useful things, when they really want to go further, and stop playing tennispongquashonton. Wish you the best !
Hey guys, good one, really. It has made a difference listening to both you and German speaking in a loose form going along with whatever the conversation would bring along. This way, I managed to hear about the start of padel both in Argentina and Spain, hear about what we face when we teach others, may it be tactics or techniques, all in a good companionship and laughter. Keep it this way. Ideas for the name, "Padelcast" is pretty attractive... One suggestion is " Hablando Padel " cast
Skitbra format! How about Padel Conversations, Padel Dialogues, or Padel Babble? Would love to hear some more coaching tips, especially for us who are new to coaching and/or are coaching beginner players. Keep up the great work.
You can talk whatever you want, I'll love it anyway. You can make some topics per episode like decades of padel, types of players, specific players, rackets, injuries, I mean there's a lot and for me this podcast is an amazing idea. I think Padelcast is the best name! Saludos desde Argentina!
Great content!!!! Amazing conversation! I enjoy a lot listening you both guys. My suggestion for the podcast would be: Padel Talks or "Chatting at the net / Chatting on court."...!!
A interesting topic you mentioned in the 2 last videos with German: the evolution of padel, not only in term of Pala, but in term of game, of tactic (just like German said at the beginning of Chiquita video about LeBron et galan Moving towards)
Padel is in extreme evolution since is moving from the long lasting duopole Argentina/Spain and is entering massively to other countries. The main reason is that these new countries (like Italy for example) are bringing into padel courts lots of young tennis players with their aggressive modern tennis. So there is now a big struggle between the (old) soft padel school and the (new) power padel generation. It would be interesting to dedicate a "padcast" to this topic. Thanks for the good job, you are doing great.
Amazing first episode! Some potential name suggestions: - Eat, sleep, Padel, repeat - Por Quatro Podcast (Out by Four Podcast) - Padelcast - Chiquita, lob, Vamos!
Great podcast. A little history, which is interesting, little tactical and little technical. I don’t listen podcasts, but this was very nice. Don’t change anything, keep it lose and easy going.
Really nice first episode! Maybe in the future something about how you can become like-minded as a couple? As you were saying, you and Ids play the 'spanish' way of padel. But a lot of people in the netherlands still play the 'Dutch' way.
Great episode:) name suggestions: El Padcast, El padelcast, El pad(el)cast, Pad(el)cast, Padel passion, Padel Point of View, The Padel Project , Padel Perspectives
Otro Padcast Otro podcast 2 players 1 ball Vamos padel Feel free! Thanks for the quality uploads. Videos with German are the best. As far as subjects, I think it would be nice to hear about your thought on the new formation about WPT/premier/apt. Maybe some differences since start of padel in technique or tactics. Stuff like that. 👌🔥
"Charla de Padel" :) I would love to hear more about the history of Padel, how the equipment started and evolved, and about the champions of the past.. especially if you could show some videos of them playing..
Super. You continue to step it up 👍 I would be more interested in tactics in padel. On that note, is there written material available on padel tactics? I don't seem to find any. Any ideas? As for the name: Otro Nivel Padel Cast > ON_Cast; PadCast is good; Up your nivel padcast; ONP_Cast; Padel Nivel with Sven & German; .... 👌
I would prefer Padelcast or Sveman Padcast :D As an intermediate player from germany i would be really happy to hear what is the best way to improve fast in padel. Of course you need to train/play more...but i see myself (in videoanalysis) doing the same mistakes over and over again (even i see and understand them). it takes a lot of time to break old bad habits. it drives me crazy :D How can we reprogramm us for those situations. For example, sometiemes i focus on after my serve, if the opponent lobs, i want to prepare faster and with my arm higher. to play the bandeja from high to low...But as soon as the ball is in the point i forget about everything and i am playing like only my instincts (which is i am to slow to get into a good position and my arm is not high enough to play smooth high to low). what do you guys recommend to be more technical clean and let go bad habits? training in front of a mirror? :D
Great conversation, enjoyed it a lot. I would like to hear more about the mental aspect of the sport. Lately, my partner and I win the first set super easy and then we "relax" in the second set, and I don't know how to handle it. We even lost a match where we had won 6-0 the first set, we were 5-2 in the second set and we ended up losing the match to 5-7/ 4-6. In the third set, we were again leading 4-1. I know this is common in padel and that is one of the things that makes the sport so much fun, but are there any tricks to keep the tension up even when you're winning easily? Thanks!
for what is see here in Italy at a rather low/medium ameteur level, the main problem is that most people end up playing what I call "minitennis". For example most people think that any volley that you hit in a somewhat comfortable position or any smash should end up being a winner shot. They expect the point to last 2-4 shots not more. Some try to do a bandeja or vibora but they do not understand that sometimes this shots are defensive shots not offensive shots. They have no idea of what a chiquita is and never practice it and think that the only way to play from the baseline is blasting passing shots. Some think they can hit winners from the baseline.. I think the reason is that here we have Padel instructors who can teach you the technique but we totally lack instructors who have actually played the game at high levels and so can teach you not only how to hit a forehand, a smash or a vibora, but also how to actually "play padel".
I do have a tactical question... when I or my partner makes a good lob passing the opponents is it always correct to go to the net together or one of the two can also stay at the back? And what are the advantages of doing that? ;)
Very valuable to translate Spanish padel into English, it's important for players and trainers in other countries to develop the sport. I have the following questions that I think would be fun to cover in the 'padcast'. What imagery (metaphors) do you use during padel lessons? At my study (study for physical education) they are very much in favor of this as well as discovery learning and the use of external focus. Do you recognize these terms and do you use this subconsciously/consciously as a trainer? What are your experiences with this? And what games/exercises (with opposite interest) do you play with beginners?
