Why does it cost so much to see a dentist? I can't afford to visit one with having no insurance.

I found videos about Perio Trays to treat periodontal disease . Is this a therapy that you would use for treating bacteria in the gums ?

  • @wolfgangrenner4152

You recommend toothform changes for therapy of occlusion problems. Is it not general better to treat occlusion problems orthodontically ? When doing orthodontics (especially with adults) bone damage may occure. And the proper role of a periodontist is to assist the orthodontist with support for bone health / recreation. But doing periodontical supported orthodontics is much more expensive than grinding away some enamel on bad touchment positions. But I think such methodes should be regarded as "deprecated" against orthodontic help. I would like to do some "bite raising" operation assisted with periodontic recreation of (orthodontical induced) bone damages. But on one hand I have not enough the money needed for such an procedure and there is to few examples found, how in practice the orthodontist and periodontist can cooperate to reach orthodontic targets with recreation of lost alveolar bone. I am most keen, to see something of this front edge approaches to increase opportunities in orthodontic treatments.

Thank you for the content. So my dentures are immediate, and they don't close in the front with adhesive, but when I'm not using adhesive and I go in to show them it's off, it closes good. So they always say no no it looks good. So it's frustrating. The bottom also sorta gives an over bite and the tops are off centered. I'm completely unhappy with my results and would like any words of wisdom on how to go about handling this??

I have a question and I know without knowing my specific case it may be hard to answer. I fractured my left mandible 3 weeks ago, at my latest follow up my surgeon reported that I have a slight CR-CO shift of approximately 1 mm with premature contact left premolar region, and that I might benefit from a occlusal adjustment from my dentist once fully healed. Do you think an occlusal adjustment could correct this? Could it get better or go away on its own? I'm currently wearing class 1 bilateral box elastics, not sure if that will help or make this worse but that's what my Dr wants me to wear right now.

the teeth are now half shaved off and now i cant find my bite and have nothing to chew with crooked flat surface. how can i perform the bite and chew test at all? and does the glob of plastic used to make the denture really cost so much that you can't just make a new one that fits correctly so i can finally get a bite to eat? my ribs are poking out and i'm hangry all the time. when's it my turn to eat?

So let me get this correct.... You do not need to extract all your teeth and replace them with all implants?????? Well, that is what the VA Dental Hospital did with me and 12 years later I am still sitting here with my bite not corrected!!!!!!! I am at a loss and overwhelmed by the constant destress and pain I have been dealing with because of what they are putting me through then, now and what my future has concerning my dental needs and correcting my bite... 🦷🦷🦷

I had a bridge put in the top row of me teeth in the front. I believe the bridge fit to tight. It made my teeth shift. My bite ended up in really bad shape. The dentist started doing these adjustments and I honestly do not believe he was being careful about it. Now I feel pressure on my front teeth as if the bridge is fit even tighter and I can't bite down properly. 3k dollars later and I'm searching for another dentist to fix this issue. My mouth is very uncomfortable day in and day out.
