  • Well, I finally got one of those new-fangled digital microscopes - so what's there to look at while I'm in Texas? How about a Texas dog tick! I'm impressed with this microscope - here's a link to it: amzn.to/3fbnlz1

I have noticed those people tend to not be too clever. They were right about aspartame though! Hahaha.

I had a 1000 x binoc that I yard sale from a professor at UCF , in Orlando ( the doid) . Pulled a tick , from the belly after camping , only tick ever , as a nine year scout leader. Got red after removing. Dug about two barbs worth , speck half .3-4mm 12-20 thou . Looks like a jigsaw blade .

I wanted to get a closer shot of the inserty-bits of the tick, but this microscope can't go in quite that close. It does explain why they're so hard to pull out, though.

Ticks also spread Alpha-gal syndrome that makes you allergic to red meat. I'll take Lyme please. (insert life w/o bacon meme)

Had an insane idea . Was watching a dyno show , where rh mods junk yard picks. Had supercharge data ie temp drive requirement . A Cummins engined truck , mount in the bed two stroke of choice , say a rg 500, drive a massive blower . Could be interesting excess power could drive air as well as an ice cooler wet intercooler . Without the massive back pressure of turbo , or belt drive , the block should hold more power . Now we me cash

Best not to look things like that too closely if you are prone to nightmares. The reciprocating saw mouthparts that they shove through the skin of their host are just plain vile.

That explains why they're so hard to pull out.

    No thanks,
Came right to the comments in case I missed something.
I’ll stick to electric turbos please, preferably 80-100krpm 20+lbs of supercharged non-parasitic boost.
    Oh yeah.

Ha - parasitic boost - ticks are parasites! See the connection... seriously, I'm not in a place nor is the weather conducive to do any more electric supercharger testing (though I still have a bunch of data to share), so I'll be putting out videos occasionally that won't have electric turbo content. Though it would be my preference to do so, I'm actively building a place where we can actually accelerate the development of these things as well as other stuff - but the process of building the place it pretty time consuming. I appreciate your taking the time to comment at least, and there is going to be more e turbo stuff coming up for sure.

If you like Woodford Reserve, check out Evan Williams 1783 Small Batch. Strikingly similar taste. I prefer 1783 (with coke.) $30-40 a bottle instead of 90+.
