Thank you so very, very much for your explanation of the Beatitudes. Although I have been studying scriptures for years as a Protestant, virtually everything you said is completely new to me. In other words, they've completely missed the point. The closest thing I ever heard was that they were the new "ten commandments" for the Christian; but, nothing else. They are in fact, a battle plan for us to grow as close to God as possible. I can't thank you enough. God bless you. Pax

I really appreciate this video. Listening to how you talk about the mystic vision really was special. It makes me think that maybe you are ministering in this capacity because in many ways in my opinion, the church rejects the mystic and it seems to me you are doing work to bring the mystic back into the church.
Hi Alvaro,thanks for this on the beatitudes, i was going to write a rule of life, with the beatitudes as bookends, this way of thinking of the beatitudes is enlightening for me.

Thank you! That is awesome. Seeing God in everything! Is that the same as the beatific vision?
No. 😊 The Beatific Vision is seeing Him, face-to-face, which is only given to the completely purified deceased, who are in Heaven with Him. We cannot see God without being perfect as God is perfect. And that is what the state of purification (purgation) is for: to cleanse us of ALL that is not of God: Purgatory.

Judgment and judgement are actually alternate spellings of the same word with the same definition. It’s a noun that refers to the decision of a legal court or judge. It can also mean an opinion formed either subjectively or objectively.
Both judgment and judgement are correct standard spellings. But there is a geographical difference in their usage. Many also observe that one of the two spellings remains preferred in all locations and contexts.
So is it judgment or judgement? Most of the time, the answer depends on your judgment! But the safest word to use is judgment. It’s proper in both UK and US spellings and more acceptable in legal contexts.

Not true. UK English *proper* spelling IS with both e's. Only in America do we weed-whack words. 😅
Alvaro, BOTH spellings are accurate. Personally, I use much of the UK spelling standards, because I was _taught that way_ by my thoroughly-American grade school teachers!
