I admire your confidence in your choices. I could never pare down to that and I usually can't stand what I bring. And I travel frequently. Toss in my laptop, 3 pair of shoes and I'm ready to check a too heavy bag. I need to reevaluate my packing attitude. Thank you.
Turns out my biggest packing mistake is being afraid of getting cold wherever I go.
I live in Florida so wherever I go is usually going to be north of me, so I over pack sweaters and jackets and long sleeve shirts.
Those take up a lot of space
I can relate, except I live in the north LOL. Winter packing is the worst, however being cold is definitely awful and can ruin a whole trip!

Perfect amount of items, I liked the packing totes idea really helpful, I only used a pouch for my makeup and another for toiletries but never thought to use one for clothes and underwear etc. it really organizes your bag and makes everything more compact!

I just want to say I love the minimalist life as far as feeling clean, fresh and organized. The only issue I face is I always feel unprepared when I pack, or live in a minimalistic setting object wise. If you have any tips as to what I may be doing wrong or things I need to be educated on, I would really appreciate it

Do you end up having to take out all your liquids and gels and put them in a smaller clear bag? I ended up getting a nicer zipped clear pouch so I could keep all the liquids together without getting a new ziplock every time. I know you said it’s a road trip but just curious if that’s one of the things you have to adjust for flying! :)
??? What make up can you bring in you’re carry on? I know liquids (foundation etc) have to be 3 oz or smaller. What about lipstick, eye shadows etc?
Moms Daily Agenda you can bring any lipstick. Any eye pencils. Mascara. Lip liner blush. Etc. no nail files or clippers. I got away with tweezers a couple times because I only carry-on
