I had the same issue, I had a Ghost S1 that I had been using for over 4 years and when the Terra released I knew it was time for a change. I have an Inno3d 4070 Ti that is only 42mm so I have room for max cooler clearance. I am running a 13600kf cooled by a Scythe Big Shuriken 3 and works really well and no turbulence.
That's awesome. I wanted an Inno3d but they are pretty expensive so I went with the larger 4080.
5800x3d requires more cooling than a 7800x3d actually.
Yeah this cooler choice is questionable..
why?
why so bad cooler? Axp 90x53 is your friend or axp-100
what cooling are u using ? and what is your temps ?
CPU cooler is a Shuriken air cooler. Before using the curve optimizer in the bios I was getting almost 100C. Now it does not go above 80C

as much as i love sff, i can't get those tradeoff about the cpu cooling etc. i hate the noise
It's a definite tradeoff for sure when you get really small
