- The iconic Moto Guzzi V8 1957 eight-cylinder 500cc race motorcycle being fired-up by Jim at the @sammymillermotorcyclemuseum on ‘All Things Italian’ Day (18th August 2024). Designed by the great designer Guilio Carcano, it produces 80hp at 14,000rpm.

I saw those bikes at a motorcycle show in los angeles in 1964 ( moto guzzi had both a 350cc and a 500ccV8 AND BOTH WERE THERE ) FIRST TIME IV EVER HEARD ONE RUN THO!!
I would like to see the measurer after a race.
I understand that this example is a rep[ica,.. True, or is it an original ex works machine ?
What a fantastic engineering achievement, 1957, a V8 500cc motorcycle, long before the Japanese multi-cylinder engines were thought of, although the Japanese have since made up for lost time, but it was the Italians that kicked things off
