Megabattie random clips

- I've compiled some Megabattie personal stuff just for your entertainment; Maggie makes an appearance in her gardening persona (!!!); I attend a course and am bored (never let a Megabattie get bored when there is a source of fruit of the vine), and I get confined in a baby cot with cruel and taunting nurses who at least give me some bubbles; also, the question of how many nurses it takes to make a bed is decisively answered... (don't forget the canine input into the bed making). (remnants of my weekend away with the old nurses with whom I trained).
Enjoy.
All that trouble under the one roof.
Good to see everyone and some good humor and fun😂😂😂
Ladies, you’re so fortunate to have such wonderful friendship. Also, loved that the word “Rat” is printed on your refreshment bottle.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I love clips where you are both with Maggie ❤ cheers
Yaay Maggie’s in the house!
Awesome video Meg!!❤️🇨🇦
Hello fantastic Meg 🤍🤍🤍🤍
Meg I think you're so amazing, you' re a special person!! You said you' re little but fierce , yes, I believe you but I ' m sure you' re so special!!! Bubbles first of all!!! LOL
I am so happy to see people like you. I wish all good things come your way! Thank you for being you! ❤
LOL thanks. I just decided to put this clips up; I've been saving them but the opportunity didn't arise for me to add them to a relevant video. Usually I add the personal bits at the end pf other vids as an added of;;o[.
Nice to see you having fun Meg and visiting with Maggie too.🤗💕💕 Sikesy🤍🤎🖤 and Mitzy💛🤍 the Dogs are so adorable during the Nurses hospital corners bed making competition.😂
Absolutely amazing Meg, much love to all.❤🍁🦇🇨🇦
I absolutely love your videos. You always make me smile, I bet y’all are a blast to have a glass of champagne with!! You and Maggie are funny together. I don’t dust either 😂😂 my dogs always help me make the bed too! Thank you for all that you do, 💕🦇💕🦇💕🦇💕🦇💕
Hmm. Sikesy after the similar looking dog in Midsomer Murders? Amazed that I caught a pop culture reference, but we watch some British TV on DVD.
Since I don't watch Midsomer Murders I don't know.
Possibly,
💜💜💜💜
Oh Meg, your friends are just glad to practice long-learned skills. Anything to keep their Megabattie happy and not bored. Very nice fruit juice you had. And two dogs on the bed. Perfect for nighttime. Two hot water bottles.😂
You kidding; Meg doesn't sleep with anyone or anything, and doesn't need hot water bottles no matter how cold it is; Meg is hot stuff by herself. Meg closed the door to keep the hot water bottles out of her room. Besides, the owners of said dogs (there was another one as well) liked to sleep with the aforesaid hot water bottles (even though it wasn't cold).
Meg, you said you don' t sleep with anyone but I remember you told us in one video of yours you slept with a baby bat close to your heart!!!!
@@sonialignani True; baby bats are not people - they're soul partners. I sleep with them specifically because they need it and we all get to sleep rather than the babies screaming and me not sleeping and nobody being happy.
Thanks for sharing, Meg.
I make my bed every night, just before I go to bed.
Warning: don’t buy fake silk sheets that are satin (I’m shaming Wayfair right now for their deception). Nothing stays put when the 70 pound dogs jump up.
That yellow flower weed is the hateful… I just lost the name, damn it… well, I lost it, but pull those things before the flowers turn to pods that shoot seeds everywhere. Oxalis! Whew, I didn’t need to look it up.
Oxalis stricta, wood sorrel. I quite like it, pretty flowers to put into salads, along with the leaves and green pods. Just don't consume mass quantities, because of oxalic acid. But I'm also a fan of hairy bittercress, another seed shooter.
@@chezmoi42 , It’s a seriously annoying weed here in SoCal. We don’t usually get any freezing weather here. There are worse weeds, but oxalis grows really close to the ground and I can’t use gloves, so it’s a pest to my garden.
Addit: must look up oxalic acid.
I’m just coming from a retired organic garden designer viewpoint, and it’s a pain. Mulching has some limits. Sigh
@@SuziQ. Ah, I come at it from a forager's viewpoint, so I'm delighted to find edible weeds in my yard or on a walk. Obviously, my garden may not meet the 'manicured' standard of others.
It's true that some of the imports can become a pest in areas where the weather is milder than their habitat of origin. But it's sad to see them poisoned when some judicious grazing could keep them under control.
@@chezmoi42a weed is just a plant somebody doesn't want. People don't appreciate plants in their own area
@@chezmoi42 ,
I don’t use any chemicals. I hand weed and mulch. I’m retired professionally, but I have my own little garden now. I’m torn between putting in the plants I want, and waiting until I ultimately move house, because I don’t feel like I’m “home” here. It doesn’t feel permanent. I can add a few smaller fruit trees in pots.
I think the most foraging I’ve done in my prior garden was for violets and nasturtiums, for salads.
My mum has 54 years service. Still learning all the oncology terms. And making sure i am looking after my stoma properly. I just keep her quiet with chocolate.
Chocolate always good for keeping people quiet, except me; I don't eat chocolate.
My sister asked me to help her make her bed up before I left Pittsburgh. I started doing hospital corners, and she screamed nooooo. Don't bother. 🤣I told her it holds the sheets tight! She's also a nurse...but it gave away how long it's been since she actually cared for a patient!🤔🙄🤣😇❤️🖤🦇🖤❤️
I ❤ hospital corners. My hubby won't let me tuck in his side.
You just have to make a pleat in the sheet in the middle of the bottom of the bed. Makes room for toes.
Yes, I know about the pleat; it ruins the look of the bed.
When I trained it was called the Hand Span Pleat. I like my bed rumpled, and exactly how I got out of it. I like really really light weight warmth and I like to be able to thrash around in my colourful bed.
I like the look of the colourful crumple in disarray. It means it's exactly how I meant it to be.
There's a flower, do you want a flower? It goes with your outfit..?
- No. Thank you..
It was a weed
That is a nicely symmetrical dog
Best gardening channel on the internet!
LOL I thought so
So nice to hang out with you guys! I propose hosting a happy hour for Megabattiei fans soon. Cheers!
I love you Maggie videos, you're so much like me, don't make the bed unless I change the sheets, don't dust, don't do my garden, until my neighbour starts complaining 😂😂😂 great to see you all having a giggle 😅❤
I don't dust in case it's someone I know (ashes to ashes, dust to dust; it could be someone's cremated ashes scattered to the winds).
I have a clean to do the dust; I allergic to dust which has been disturbed but am perfectly happy to coexist with the dust if it reciprocates and doesn't get up my nose.
Bedmaking; I was a nurse; I made beds for many years. I don't make my bed in remembrance of those years. Only at sheet changing time. I like the rumpled crumpled disarray of colourful sheets and pillows.
I'm not a gardener.
"How many nurses it takes to make a bed..?" 😂
as many as it takes, in this case, 3, with one supervisor and 2 dogs
Are they all RNs? retired & still working…..How many nurses does it take to make a bed 🤣 Cute doggo! Luv seeing Maggie too, she’s not on your video much anymore …….Fun Video Meg 👍 Tobey 🌵🌞
The blonde one was still working as a Sister up till a few months ago; one of them works in public health now, and the other one is a Grey Nomad. Hospital corners are in our pasts. I don't like to be confined, so I don't use hospital corners other than to anchor the sheets to the bottom of the bed; I don't make my bed in between sheet changes; I like the rumpled colourful look.
I spent too much time in hospital to like daily bed makes and order.
Maggie is only around during baby season and has a life for the rest of the year.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Champaign in a dripper bottle or did you say fruit. My hearing not the best and neither is my phone
She said fruit. I think that equals champagne 🥂.
Fruit serving of the day; fruits of the vine; grapes...
Champagne
@@Megabattie 😉
Haha, great!
But ohoh... Sikesy is a Jack Russell, those are quite the characters, cheeky rascals. Did you get a visit from him at night?
Meg is a non doggie person; Meg's door was shit.
The human lovers/owners of these doggies confined them and they slept with them at night, not me.
Meg is non doggie.
Very nice to see Maggie's gardening skills which didn't involve mention of any naughty bits. And so glad that Meg drinks her daily fruit ration in whatever vessel is available after all Champagne is made from grapes, grapes are fruit so hence a fruit a day keeps the doctor away. Love the dogs leaving their mark as well.
We'll just bribe you with bubbly!
I'm definitely bribable if Bubbly is on the table...
❤❤❤
I don’t dust cause it could be somebody I know🤣💕👍🦇
Yep, ashes to ashes, dust to dust; what if someone I knew who was cremated was flung to the winds? It could be someone I know gathering on my windowsill.
I must be the odd one out as dogs definitely don't belong on human's beds.
Hope you had a lovely sleep Meg that looked so comfy.
Megabattie lacks the dog gene; Megabattie shut the door so there were no doggies in her room and no doggies joining her in bed at night. Megabattie isn't a doggie person but treats dogs as humans if they treat her as a friend.
I was a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) for a bit until I stated a family. I also did a bit of repotting and planting today. Hospital corners always reminded me of Martha Stewart where everything had to be perfect...or else. I bet Teddy and Gelert would fight over if the corners were perfect.

@@Megabattie Hear, hear. Making beds is a waste of time and effort. I believe in tossing back the covers and letting the bed air out during the day!
@@b.a.erlebacher1139 I spent 6 months a year every year in hospital for 20 years; I don't like beds which put pressure on me anywhere; I also don't like the sheets to fall off, so I tuck them in at the end but I like the duvet to be loose and able to be flung around.
