Stitchin’ Post was founded in 1975 by Jean Wells in Sisters, OR. Jean, and her daughter Valori, still own and run the shop as a maker's mercantile offering quality supplies for many crafts and fiber arts. We believe in customer service, education, and supporting both our local and the maker communities. We’re also the founder of the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show and Quilters Affair.
As I grow as a quilter, I gravitate more and more to this style of scrappiness, like the marvelous Jen Kinwell. Love the fabrics selection, including some of my favorite designers.
Jeanne, it’s so nice to see you in a video and to learn from you even though we’re not right there in the classroom with you it’s so much fun to see how you think about color and how you would put things together it’s just not how my brain works obviously but I’d like to practice some more and see if I could get it to work like that someday. I’m so grateful for all these videos you guys do it’s really lovely thank you.

Does anyone know the name of the fabric with the woodland animals on it? Great video! I always love hearing from Jean Wells! I would love to see a video on how Jean Wells does her big stitch style quilting.
