He said he does it because his dad did it when he practiced; before going into WW2. He said, sometimes just a little bit of something to show where you're from, tells a lot about how you hold yourself. He passed away in 2014 and I will always remember that. I still do these steps, even when it's not powoww time
This is good because this is what natives did for centuries to keep fit everyone should do them.i took a folk dance class including native dance and this really should be brought in as an art and made more intricate just as in ballet or jazz this class may inspire natives to become involved in ballet and modern dance and incorporate it into choreographies

No no no no, you ain't doing it right. You should be teaching people how to get sturdy with those moves. I'm a 49 year old Cree grass dancer. Why do you do this? And this is a man's dance. I'm not gonna show people how to jingle or fancy shawl dance. And if you're gonna do it, do it right. Smh
