FPV is overrated for subs. You could see what's on the surface, or perhaps what is directly under you if you point the camera down, but only when surfaced. Wireless video does not work submerged and I, for one, don't want a cable dangling from my boat just to get video of murky water.
Unless it's running 75mhz, you can't dive, but you can certainly use it to control the sub on the surface and if you extend the antenna(s) you can run as deep as full periscope depth as well.

the ojibwa is in port burwell ontario and the tour is excellent
They were the best boats in the 70 and 80 even the nuke boats couldn't detect us in Rimpac in Hawaii, very silent .

As a 2.4ghz boat, yes it is capable of salt water operations if additional care is taken with the battery connections.
