Honestly, Joel is the (not so) secret ingredient of the WOTE sound. That intricate drumline totally makes this song and he gives so much character to any song they do. Never underestimate the drummer! They can make or break a band. Love that this video showcases his insane talent and passion.
i love it when you can tell that a percussionist feels the song and just jams out while nailing their part
Please continue being who you are, a wholesome bunch of fun people. The world needs such an example of how you can have fun with great values without degrading women, talking dirty or demeaning others. Love how you let us see the drum part all by itself...

My brother left this word listening to you all. I played many covers of, "Walk off the earth" at his funeral. He requested in his will your songs. So you're cover's you will be.

As a fellow drummer, the only thing I could play as a kid, love seeing Joel get some focus. I know about the tired jokes about drummers but Joel is the secret sauce as much as the lost beard was. He shares equal footing with the other members and I can't wait for more of these videos as we will lack piano videos now :(
I played drums through high school and often find myself mesmerized at concerts by drummers because I know how much work and talent goes into being a great drummer. I’ve already spent two concerts in awe of Joel, and am looking to a third in May (Portland, Maine!). I totally appreciate this video and would love for you to post more! Love this song! I have been listening to your band since I was 4 and still really love it. Your coming to my town during your tour, but I'm camping that week. That is the saddest I have ever been to go camping.

So I used to be in a band, we've had our fair share of changing band members but me and my drummer.. we always stick around. He gets my artistic view, and I feel like I get him too. I was the one who sings, and he drums. But he could also play guitar. He's a really good drummer.. oh how I miss those wild days..
