This is such a great bit of info!! Funnily enough I was about to film an interview this morning and this showed up just beforehand. I always used to pick one source or occasionally switch sources but this way of aligning and then mixing the two is infinitely better!! Thanks again mate 👌
I've noticed so many videos that get this wrong. Is there any way to fix this when there's two people, two lav mics and they're talking at the same time. There is a delay when one voice is being picked up by two mics. All I can think is not letting both people talk at the same time. If you mic A on person A and mic B on person B, is there good way to reduce the signal of person B in mic A?
Great video! Thanks for sharing. I have a question. What is the workflow with the audio from the video clips? I do it like this: First I sync the audio that the sound engineer gives me, then in the clip attributes I choose a channel to be able to edit, but then I would like to recover all the channels of the clips that were left in the timeline so I can send them to the sound post in ProTools. That's where I have problems, how do you do it? Thank you very much.
Did you actually find out how? I'm a sound mixer so I'm not familiar with Davinci but sometimes video editors ask how to do this and I haven't found a smart solution yet
Excellent info. Thanks for sharing your skill and knowledge.
This is fantastic! I had a similar issue with an interview of a couple. Both wore labs and when they spoke together it sounds so phase induced.
Your classes always show up just as I seem to need them. Keep these gems coming. Thanks!
Thank you for sharing these simple yet advanced tips!
A real pro tip - thank you. So much to know and learn. Your relaxed, paced style really helps.

Never heard of that before but maaaaaaan. This would have saved me so much trouble in my last Project xD
Aweome! Thank you!
Thanks for such a breakdown, but doesn't Davinci's 'native auto align clips by waveform' not do this? 6:10
Thanks Dad!
Incredible, do you know anyone who has a workflow with auto align 2 and fairlight, my understanding is that it's not compatible.
@@avdpost Yeah as far as I know it’s not compatible. Would be great!
