You can really tell what a special friendship y'all got. Or with a special person you are to be friends with. The reason I say that is watching the demeanor of the dog. The guy you're interviewing his dog is sitting on your lap lol and a chihuahua sometimes them are mean. Ricky really does good putting all the videos together. I will say and all y'all sure are good characters
No doubt your surroundings definitely are important in every part of life in order to be happy and productive, i think that goes along with having religion and faithgreat job guys stay safe
It's about time you guys do some in-house interviews.I love it, not that you're slacking in anything.I'm just saying you guys rock.I love this channel god speed
This is so sick to see. I played lacrosse and hung out with Todd in the skatepark days. Stoked to see him out here doing big things like this. Keep it up brotha 🤘🏽
Something that I've noticed you. Folks don't know if you do it on purpose, although I've noticed every. One that works for you is just a salt of the Earth, kinda person. Please don't change that you guys are all very creditable. People and I get emotional quite often watching this. I like that you're real.I like that a lot. There's no Hollywood bullshit here. And I love that.Tin Soldiers to the front, are the front, and that won't change
Great podcast guys. I love it how everyone kinda throws their thoughts in on things. I gotta say I can’t imagine working at a place that you could really enjoy doing what you do and then on top of that have people you work with that you literally look forward to seeing. Don’t get me wrong I like a fair amount of people I work with but then there’s the Debbie downers that can just suck the positive energy right out of ya. Really like how you said that talent was low on the list of why you’d hire someone to. I mean there’s a ton of people that are very talented but just aren’t the type you wanna work for or with cause they really do suck the energy out of the room.
Do a build series with his car! It would help create content and get his car closer to being complete. It could also open you up to drag and drive style customers. There some great drag and drive specific parts to be made! Also can we get a Cb update soooooon?
I think build an acre compound, with Todd's house on it,at the shop, also,a guest house, for out of town customers can stay a day,or 2 while waiting for repairs or parts to finished.and security too,all in Todd's house, apartment, all in one, maybe 2 acres,if there is room. It would attract a lot of people that come and get parts that don't have to rent a hotel because they can stay at tin soldiers compound!
Another great vid! Hey, I’ve gotta suggestion for the set. How about putting that rear end under the Tin Soldiers sign, kinda make it the center focal point between Jason & the interviewee. It’s always hidden behind the interviewee. Btw Jason, I miss the Motivational Mondays! Y’all keep up the good work!
Would love to come hang out with you guys! I know things arent always what they appear when it comes to videos BUT you guys all look so grounded and down to earth that i certainly want to experience it for myself! Thanks for being chill! Thanks for sharing another great perspective of TSR!
It's hard to make change but you never know until you try. Also can 100% attest to the vibes part of work symmetry. I have a guy I work with that is just negative all the time and it just makes the days drag on
I live in Boyle county here in central Kentucky. Close to the knobs, it’s fun riding around up and down the knobs. It me up if you wanna go on a ride one weekend. It’s kinda cool, they’re like baby mountains, lol.
Hey Tin soldiers family, Do you feel that a containment seat can be a replacement for a funny car cage within a 25 cert race car? I know a funny car cage is a MUST in any vehicle with a 25 cert cage but I feel that a containment seat can do just as great of a job and I feel that the seat will be safer for vehicles that are street “legal”, such as drag and drive vehicles. I’d like to hear your thoughts on this.
Jason this one is for you and Todd I worked for a fabrication company in New Orleans named Buck Kreish which is a German last name and a sales men was talking with the owner and was trying to pronounce his last name and he was really messing it up and the owner told him know it's buck kreish just like Jesus's last name....lol I almost pisted on my self I never did think of Jesus having the last name christ...lol I love it great pod cast guys.
Man do you have room for another camper? I have a Great Dane puppy lol. I’m a 51 year old self employed plumber looking to get the hell out of NY. You can’t even jump on your dirtbike anymore just to take a ride through the woods because the cops would be all over you. My bike just sits. Actually we’re hoping to move to SC by my mother and sister. I was a Chevrolet certified tech on my first career. I’m hoping to get my procharger on witching the next couple weeks. You guys are very awesome and very sincere and that’s great! You don’t see that much here on Long Island
I built a pretty sick go kart. I bought the HF 420, brought it home and tore it apart. Ported and milled the head of course, .100” longer billet rod, stronger valve springs, jetted the carb. I left the stock cam. I’d like to put it on my lathe and see if I can make a fixture to try and regrind it. I love projects on the lathe and mill!!
I’ve got a nice camper Jason mind if I shack up next to him. I have a ton of skills and can lay some nice mig welds let me know. You’ll see see my work here soon
If you carry 3 different sets of leaf Springs, there's no reason you can't tune your rear suspension on any surface. If it's horrible horrible you know which leaves brings to use
Drag and drive makes the investment more feasible being you can still use and drive instead of having a 50k+ investment that has only one single purpose. Plus the wife can ride/drive also so it's a double win.
Yall should do a podcast with some one who's just a good Ole boy from a broken family who loves drag racing and is doing it his self , everybody yall have had on your podcast has a decent family and money , interview someone who is not so fortunate , just saying
