I don't know, understand or speak any Japanese or other Asian languages to draw parallels with besides a few common use words here and there, and never got into watching anime growing up (only watched a little here and there at friends houses, never enough to get into a story and become hooked because it would be a random episode in the middle of a series, but I'd always choose sub over dub) etc. But like many others I fell down the vtuber rabbit hole, starting with clips of indies and ending up with watching holo en livestreams regularly, even replaying the vods if I missed a certain stream die to time difference and ultimately becoming a massive faunmei fan. It's thanks to the amazing hard work and dedication of clippers and translators such as yourself that has allowed me to experience, enjoy and grow to love the other members of hololive in such an immersive experience where its so easy to watch and follow along I often entirely forget that they are actually speaking another language. For that I am eternally grateful
