Ross, this is my favorite prank. My father passed away Thursday morning, and one of the things I loved most about him was his strange sense of humor. He would have LOVED this prank, and I am sorry that he didn't get to see it, but glad that I did. Watching it made me think of him, and how he would have reacted. Hey curt, sorry for your loss man. I know the hurt. My dad passed away 5 months ago and death of someone that close just seems like ur world has been pulled from under your feet. The pain is there always and sometimes i go there purposefully just to let it all out. But with time the pain does get easier to hold. Once again sorry to hear this, all you can do is keep the memories, like the one you shared, close to you. I’m sure hes laughing along with u as you watched this.
I love the concept of these videos having some main event in the title/thumbnail and then these other random clips mixed in, it's like a neat little package of surprises. I would definitely go for a style like that myself, it's brilliant.

I speak from experience, I hit rock bottom and was ready to quit but through the right professional help I was able to get back on my feet an am better than ever. It felt like it was the end and „it will get better“ sounded laughable but it was the truth. When you hit the bottom there is only one way: up.

I really appreciate the last part where you been telling us your struggle with the feeling of getting up, as someone who deals with substance abuse and mental health hearing this just now really encouraged me to do better for myself. I completely under the feeling over not wanting to get up and not having energy or like momentum for anything. Sometimes for me I just don't feel worthy or like if I can or can't. I constantly go through repulsive thoughts and insecurities. I feel like if I did things more constant, I have more confidence to do more with myself. I appreciate the video

The most impactful thing I learned is that anger is a secondary emotion. You never get angry from a situation, you either get sad, jealous, hurt, etc. and as a result of not dealing with those primary emotions, you just get angry instead.

This prank with the dead body is my worst nightmare. As an architect I’ve been in a lot of creepy old basements/crawlspaces and I’m always worried I’m going to find a body or something. 😩 PS: the bit in the end really spoke to me and I appreciate it.

Ross, you're certainly not the only one struggling sometimes. Many friends, and myself too, have been through depressed phases.
And while being down sucks, the easiest thing - as you described - is, to literally get out there and do *anything*. I thoroughly enjoyed the "ross talk" bit :D
Most of the times there are reasons for being lethargic, but almost always, the reasons don't prevent you from going on a walk, hiking or biking etc.
And since most of us probably have less than 4000 Weeks left to live, better make the best out of each one!
I appreciate the book recommendation, I’ve also been dealing with anxiety and depression. I have cut my walks down to about 3 miles per day from 8-10 and haven’t had rolling panic attacks for like 3 months. Still working on the depression, but anything that could help is worth giving an honest try.
