- This week, I picked random school supplies out of a hat and turned them into cake! Neither of these items are something I would have picked on my own, so it was a real challenge to figure out the best approach to take. What other random stuff should I turn into cake?

I'd love to see a mouldy fruit/rotten food cake given that it was an option in the past. Some spoiled meat crawling with maggots would be awesome, but mouldy food would be great as well!

You could do a whole array like an opened can of catfood, a dish (or bag) of dry food, a bowl of water, treats, toys, etc!!
This was so fun to watch! The marker cake cutting really tripped me out!
Also, how about a cactus cake? You’d think it would be prickly and hurt to bite into, but it’s actually soft and delicious! 😂
Maybe a edible phone? You could also make a phone case, a copy of your own, and prank husband Dave by cutting it! 😅😂

the sugar printer works really well, but the images come out so low quality it just gives the cake away almost immediately

My kiddo says that you should make a hyper realistic cake of a table set for thanksgiving dinner, but it has to have dessert too.
My mom is a trumpet player, and she thought it would be super cool if you could make a cake that looks like a trumpet case with a trumpet set in side of it.
I'm sure it would be a fun challenge to get those textures to look realistic. From the inner felt of the trumpet case, to the brass trumpet itself.

A really neat cake idea would be an umbrella! There would be a lot of different textures to try making, like plastic for the handle, metal for the… idk, metal thing? Plus, either fabric or that weird plastic-y thing for the actual umbrella part!

I love your animal cakes, and the pillow cake you made was so cool. Maybe a Squishmallow cake (squishmallows are like a mix between pillows and stuffed animals that people collect) because you need to have the fluffy pillow like texture and the animal shape.
