      my friend, this guys were ridiculously tricked into thinking they were fighting for freedom, defending or helping someone, he said it in the video "we didnt know what we were doing", there were no weapons of mass destruction, now we know they fought for the economical interest of some big corporations, they walked into another country and into someones home carrying a rifle, thats called looting.. there is no heroism in that... You are spreading ignorance, and your kids will grow to learn the truth, and if they are intelligent, which Im sure they are, they will understand the facts, and you will be seen as ignorant... its better to teach them to think, question and always look further.

    • @Colynthomas_
      @Colynthomas_ 4 роки тому +1

      ChypnotiC Pl first off it isn’t boy. You obviously don’t know what you’re talking about, and don’t know what war is truly like, it’s devastating. Things happen that you wouldn’t be able to understand unless you were there and saw it first hand. And yeah I understand civilians being killed, but unfortunately that’s war, people die. We take every precaution to ensure that there is no loss of innocent life because that’s not why we’re there. You can hate the superiors of the men on the ground, the officers, generals, commanders wtv, don’t hate the troops for following orders. Most of us refuse to fire in an area or building unless we know exactly who and what is inside. And personally I’ve never experienced high explosives used on any structure unless we know it’s occupied by the enemy and only the enemy, maybe I’ve gotten lucky idk, but that’s my experience. Oh ant thanks for that, wishing death on myself or anyone, such a class act, shows the coward you are

    • @Colynthomas_
      @Colynthomas_ 4 роки тому +2

      ChypnotiC Pl if you read what I said you would’ve seen that I said I have never fired at a civilian. We’re not fighting kids or women over there which you seem to think is the case. Never in my life would I kill someone unless my life or the lives of my comrades were in absolute indefinite danger, nor would I ever fire at a child. And yeah you are a coward, wishing death is a cowards move.

    • @Colynthomas_
      @Colynthomas_ 4 роки тому +1

      ChypnotiC Pl I like many others, fight because we actually care about the well being of people outside of our own country, I want to see these people free, I want them to prosper, I want to see them live without the fear of a radical group coming I to their villages and slaughtering them for no apparent reason other than their specific sect of their religion. I fight so that those children can grow up and actually make something of themselves. I fight so that my children don’t have to.

    My youngest son, who is a Special Forces Medic and Purple Heart recipient, still serving, took me on a fishing trip with Mission Outdoors here in Washington state. Me and a bunch of other Disabled Veterans, got to spend the day fishing and telling war stories. hahaha One of my fondest memories, not only because I got to spend the day fishing, but because I had my son and my grandson with me. My oldest son and one of my daughters are also Disabled Veterans and I would love to set up a fishing trip with the 4 of us. Keep doing what you're doing gentleman, still leading the way and making your country proud. 2nd Batt, the only Batt. Lol RLTW

    "...physically, I was runnin' out of juice..." Classic. 😂
    Central/South TX: the Birdwell Foundation are good people.
    I did fall into that pit. In some ways it is harder to deal with what the outside can't see. If you jump at a noise and have the "aftermarket parts" (as a friend of mine called them), people look-see-say/think its ok. You dive for cover in Sunday morning services because someone sneezed... people start to look at you like a UXO after a few times. So to make it simple:
    1. It isn't a contest. Get the help you need.
    2. Finding out how much help you need means talking people who can help. A support group or VSO meeting is a good place to start.
    3. The VA is what it is. Take the help they offer. It is better than nothing, and sometimes by a lot. They broke it.. They bought it.
    4. Helping others helps you.
    To all of my fellow veterans: Stout Hearts and God Bless.

    I love John’s videos. The proof that gun lovers and former door kickers aren’t all brain-dead morons is refreshing. Very inspiring words of wisdom for all walks of life and backgrounds.
    On a funny thought, I can only Imagine what level of intensity John must have had and what an un-tabbed E-3 must have felt showing up in Ranger Bat and being in John’s platoon.
    I remember showing up and being both terrified and exhilarated at the same time meeting my squad leader on day 1.

    WOW thank you all for your service gentlemen. I lived in a lil town outside of Ft Benning GA for over 30 years,were most were retired army vets,and some still active duty, I was in a bass fishing club were these men became my buddy's I was called SARGE as was everyone else! (its a army thing) and they accepted me as one of their own, I also had a few RANGERS that were real good friends. when I got hurt they were the first guys to come see me. Tom gave me a RANGER coffee mug and wrote something on the bottom. I've since moved away, but I will never forget these men that thought me so much and that you can be a man and be compassionate too, you can be a bad ass and friendly also, that life doesn't have to be complicated.....Later Sarge

Not only for overcoming the physical injuries incurred serving our country,but for being able to overcome the psychological damage they suffered and speak to others able it. My father is a Vietnam veteran that was wounded during his time there and til this day he cannot talk about that time in his life. I've asked questions trying to get him to open up,but the look he gets in his eyes is heart breaking and he just can't do it. I was just beyond the age to join after 911 but as a Volunteer Firefighter and friend of a late war Vietnam Vet Green Barete, I knew the time to "Support the Troups" wasn't always going to be the patriotic war time period, but the decades after. These survivors and there families are hero's for centuries. Now is the time for the benificerierys of the sacrifice to rise up and express our gratitude. Find an organization you trust and contribute. You will go to the grave felling better. God bless everyone...
