    Junk food is seed oils (they still push these as healthy, they are anything but healthy), sugar, and other processed carbohydrates. People never ate any of that going back thousands of years, and no one had seed oils until about 1920. Heart disease began at that time, was virtually unheard of prior. Instead of blaming Crisco and seed oils though, they told everyone to cut back on fat (which is essential in the diet) and to eat more carbohydrate (which the body doesn’t even need). As a result, little kids have type 2 or what used to be called “adult onset diabetes”. Furthermore, hundreds of years ago, people didn’t even drink water, which could not be stored, instead they drank beer. Even children. The standard American diet is at least as bad as heavy drinking. It’s not a mystery, Zi wish people didn’t pretend they don’t know the reason why people are so sick. We know, but the companies that produce the junk continue to promote them for profit.
