One thing Chuck Berry can't sing yeah remember those days but Elvis had the voice and the charisma no one can match Elvis takes the crown my man Elvis❤
OK you need NEED to hear Elvis's Studio rehearsal version, he tops his live version it will blow your mind even more: ua-cam.com/video/2MU0m3dGYlM/v-deo.html
Elvis gave us a heart pounding version. Elvis tended to speed up the songs he was known for when in concert and he certainly went full throttle on this one! My dad was a fan of Chuck Berry, but he was also a fan of Elvis. I don't know who he'd choose when it comes to this song, but for me there is no competition. Elvis ROCKS and he ROCKS HARD! I don't take anything away from Chuck, but Elvis' version is more my **speed** ( not to mention, Elvis can actually sing beautifully when he wants to, Chuck-not so much ).
Elvis P wins those VOCALS! POWER!!! Guitarmanship Chuck was a tie between him and Elvis' guitarist. Elvis wins this one but I LOVE CHUCK BERRY too! Both versions are unique and special.
- - - Apples & Oranges Elvis rocks harder & faster than Chuck Chucks video appears live but it's not. Its him lip-synching to a studio recording. Elvis's version is indeed live from 1969, so we cannot compare live to live between them Elvis wins on vocals for sure, as Chuck's voice is not really a singing voice, and if you ever heard him do a ballad, you'd see what I mean. Guitar-wise, Elvis' guitarist, James Burton can do circles around Chuck. Beyond just this song, looking at both of their lifetime careers, Elvis easily outclasses Chuck's career, just compare their stats. Elvis had more gold, platinum, multi platinum, more chart activity, more top 40, top 10, #1 songs, and Albums. Elvis even had more hits on the R&B chart than Chuck, so the minority audience bought Elvis' records. Finally, many folks see chuck doing Johnny B Good and say that started rock & roll. We must remind them, Chuck's song is from 1958. His first one that charted was 1955. Elvis & Bill Hailey both recorded rock & roll (1954) before chuck did.
There's nothing wrong with Chuck's version. But there's always something special with Elvis. I'm sure if Elvis recorded this in the 50s in the studio it would have been brilliant. Chuck Berry was only miming to the song. But Elvis was live. Big difference .
Hello everybody this is a vs reaction between Chuck Berry and the King Elvis Presley
Holy moly, Elvis steamrolling over Chuck Berry! Elvis was a force of nature, a global treasure.
Wow wow elvis is mazing ❤❤❤❤
Elvis' lyrical baritone voice is powerful and very rock. I give a 👍🏻 to the king of rock Elvis
Elvis all day

🙏🔥
The recording by Elvis in 1969 wins--hands down. The Black Hillbilly was super talented, but vocally he was subpar.
🔥🔥🔥
Elvis...nailed it!!! I absolutely loved Chuck Berry too...but.Elvis is definitely my favorite!!!
I love Elvis, but I prefer Chuck's version.

Perfectly stated.
EP always buried chuck berry. Check record sales. It speaks for itself
Elvis all the way. Vocally way superior

vs Peter Tosh.
@@JAMESMOORE-gq4vv Peter Tosh is reggae
@@ThePaulieShow He does a version of Johnny B. Good, I like.
@@JAMESMOORE-gq4vv Really ok I'll take a look
I love Elvis but Chuck own that song from beginning to end
Chuck Berry is the better version
Mismatch. Presley couldn't be singing it if Berry didn't write it. Pointless but predictable comparison.
Not pointless and not predictable
Chuck stole the intro from Louis Jordan's "Ain't That Just Like A Woman."
Presley could't tune Chuck Berry's guitar.
Your talking out of your arse
Love Chuck but Elvis owns this one!!!!!!
Elvis wins but i love Chuck Berry and respect him.
