Hi Pete, could you possibly expand on this video breaking down the costs of running an 18 ton and all expenses that go with it i.e transport managers, parking, insurance, cost of finding work (HX).
There's a lot to consider financially, transport managers ,somewhere to park ,tax ,mot ,insurance ,operator licence application fees ,depreciation of the vehicle ,accountants ,pmi etc .....there's a lot to think about before risking your savings but if you decide to go for it then I wish you good luck ......personally I believe you earn more driving class 1 for the supermarkets
I dont really get why truck prices vary so much... on A&M etc. A rigid seems to be steeper than a unit (sub-15k seems to get a good one, but then therell be ones for £70/80k which don't make sense to me). Love the channel btw, just sent my d2/4 forms off as I wanna get the licence but not for work as such, just to have it/backup in future :)
Hi Pete I hope your well I think I'm probably your longest subscriber (maybe) Do you ever get any 18 ton jobs to and from Cornwall Also have you ever done a small van job in your 18 t if not what is the smallest van job you have done in your 18 tonne If you had a big job to Cornwall And a job was on the exchange for a small van job was going back to Milton Keynes would you bid on it or not Thanks for your good videos
Happy new year everyone - great video.
Think I'm going to make question of the week❤❤❤❤❤😊

Other bit of advice, keep £500 back for the inevitable petition for your bankruptcy.

I’ll be honest there are barely any jobs on the exchange for 18ton work currently. I’m considering packing it and getting back to my day job
