OMG.. between dishes, the game on tv, the kids and some horrid screetching (is it a door?), walking around... they were so distracting. You should redo this presentation in your home without all the ambient noise. It's worth rerecording.

Excellent presentation but too much background noise.

Really good info from Doug and fair play to him he battled on through what is a completely comical set of distractions! Quite amazing, like something from some sort of training video on the worst possible presentation environments! But this just made me lough out loud!! Well played again Doug, hats off to you.

Great information and very informative but was this presentation hosted at a wedding reception or the dish line in a Chili's kitchen? Either way, good on Doug for the info. I'm in the process of setting up my allstar node now.

This presentation was given during a Club Christmas Party. I was a little peeved that the bus persons decided to clean up the dishes and very loudly at that during his presentation. There was no filtering it out in post editing without losing Doug in the process. However, Doug did bring quite a display of Nodes for us to look at and between his display and presentation it inspired a lot of Ham's to get into Allstar and resulted in us building a large scale Network of Nodes throughout Southern New Jersey which eventually led to the creation of the Allstar Meet & Greet Net which meets every Saturday @ 10PM on South Jersey Hub Node 44207.

Just to rag you a little, as a HAM you should know signal routing.. i.e. a microphone during dinner is probably the root cause of you issues;) Recording from a mixer would've been better.. But you know this and I'm just ribbing you. I have a question though.. why do I want to do this ? (I do, I just don't know why..lol)..... " In the morning" to ya.

No bias intended for Echolink, it is shadow-banning me on daily basis where I don't hear anybody and my call get no answer even I see myself connected. Echolink also arbitrarily disables remotely my repeater mode. So for that matter, it is crooked and sneaky.

Echolink came out in 2002 after iLink. IRLP was out prior to that. IRLP is older than Echolink.

From what are you in five XCX I am interested in a node. It must be pre - built as I am visually impaired. I would like to have Allstar.

Ok, for 1.5 rc2 on a RPi 3B+, can someone tell me how to add more than 1 wi-fi network, or really more than 2? I can manually add my phone's wifi to the wpa_supplicant_custom and get it to still connect to my home wifi, but the instant I add a third network to that config the wlan0 interface will no longer connect. I'd like to be able to store multiple network configs into the file and have it prioritize and auto connect to them without having to change the config every time I need a different wi-fi network. I can do this on other Linux distros, but since Asterisk doesn't seem to use netctl completely, I have yet to figure this thing out.

I have a Beaglebone Black gathering dust here at home. Looks like this would be a great use for it.
