Great review. After 20 years of working out 6 days a week, I tore my rotator last May doing a bench press. Haven't worked out since. Getting the itch to get back into it, but have been scared to tear it again. Just purchased this bench. Arrives next week. I'm hoping by taking the pressure off my stabilizers with this, I can start hitting it again.
Any updates? I hope All is well. I’m still trying to assemble Mine but I wrecked the top of my left forearm a month ago. Doctor said it’s like tennis elbow basically. Trying to get better so I can get tight again
@supanigra18750 yes sir, been using it for over a month now. A little weird getting used to having a pre-determined motion, but definitely works good for what it's worth. If you're doing any serious weight, I'd say go slow. The bolt/screw the holds the arms to the post isn't the sturdiest things I've ever seen.
If you put the bench up, and then sat on the floor in front of it, facing away from it and did shoulder press that way, would it feel more comfortable and improve the shoulder press form?
@@1stone379 I’ve bought this and now have it, and I have to say, it’s decent for the money. I’ve greased up all the pivot points/arms and used larger washers on the frame assembly and it is very sturdy. I had planned to bolt it to the floor but it’s not necessary. I had a lever press similar to this before but the arms went directly up, whereas these come closer together as you lift providing a better range of motion in my opinion. I’m pleased with it.
Thank you for the video! Ordered mine last week and it should be in tomorrow. Can’t wait to use it!
Where did you order and for how mych?
@@matiasgonzalez8170 amazon has it for 300
I like your prep of your bolts. Like a chef’s mise en place
Thank you for making the video. You helped me out so much putting that thing together. You did a great job.
Welcome!

Yeah that might help
@@GearChaseTube if you try it, can you please let me know how well it works?
Great video! GMWD is the same company as Syedee, isn’t it? It’s the exact same design. This stuff is usually made by the same Chinese company.
What size wrench did you use? Mine won’t fit the nuts
Is it wobly when you press?
I think something of this price is going to be slightly wobbly. It looks it in the video
Yes, you can feel some movement in the arms of the machine.

I like the idea behind it, but to be honest...it doesn't seem to be that great of quality.
It's not commercial grade, but it gets the job done.
