World Rewilding Day, 2024 🌱

- Today is World Rewilding Day, a day to raise awareness of the concept & the need for nature recovery around the globe🌱.
Over the last four years, our very own rewilding project has seen our 20-acre Wildlife Aid Centre site become a haven to hundreds of animals, now calling it home.
But, rewilding doesn’t just have to be a large-scale project, you can rewild areas of your garden or even a balcony, and help give nature back to wildlife.🐝

Simon .. May You Rest in peace 💔 and May Your Last Wish come true. a new Wildlife Aid Centre. thanks to the many donations to. simons last wish. from everyone who have been inspired by you.
Rest in Peace Simon!! 😢❤ Thank you for EVERYTHING you have done for so many animals and for educating the public. Your work will continue and we will all keep your legacy alive ❤
Incredibly sad news. I used stay up to watch Wildlife SOS at the weekend. A lovely guy that devoted his life to animals. God speed.
For the first time of my life I'm not ashamed to cry, for I cry for an honorable man.
Farewell, Sir.
Your work will never be forgotten. Your dedication to saving wildlife is so remarkable and inspirational. Thank you for all of your preservation and services to our planet. May you rest in peace, sir.
Devastating news, so sad to hear. Simon we and all the animals are grateful for your love and care. You will be so missed. I wish all your loved ones the strength and power to carry this loss. ❤
You will never be forgotten. All the lives you saved ...
Start at home, if you have a garden or yard rewild a corner of it and encourage your local council to rewild their park areas, where possible.
Exactly! 🌱
@@wildlifeaid I have an orchard space at the bottom of my garden and I only mow a small bit of my lawn, once a year.
We only mow a bit every year and let the rest go wild it turns so beautiful
I'm happy every time I see the centers of trafic-islands or public grass-areas, that don't get cut by my city, because they only mow, what is nessesary for trafic-safety. Keeping a bird-bath myself for my indoor-cats to spy on and one in the backyard, because my one blackbird hates coming to the front-yard for bathing, so I have to keep his little pool maintained. I will get scolded, if I don't, he is verry vocal.
👍
Very saddened to hear of Simon's passing... I hope and pray all the good work you did for animals is carried on. RIP to a legend.
My eyes are welling...
What a difference you make! A savior of beautiful creatures in trouble, and you're doing the same for their home. You're an inspiration which forever lives in my heart, Simon. 💝
Thank you to everyone at Wildlife Aid. 💚
Those 20 acres look fantastic, what an amazing legacy you have Simon. You and all the amazing WAF team should be so proud of all you have achieved. ❤
Amazing. Continuing prayers for Simon
Rest in peace, Simon. Thank you all you have done, not only in the defense of wildlife, but also in the education, and not least entertainment, of us "ordinary mortals. You have surely deserved relaxing and sitting back to watch your legacy grow.
RIP Simon thank you for everything you did ❤
A true gentleman who will be sadly missed.
Rest easy Simon, thank you for everything you have done for animals and for people.
RIP to a beautiful man who made a difference in the lives of so many animals and inspired generations of people to take care of the wildlife around them. Sad day indeed 💔
Rest in peace, good Sir. So glad to have discovered you. 😢
Devastating news to hear about simons passing. He will never be forgotten and will forever be cherished
~Say not in grief they are gone, but live in thankfulness that they were~ 💔
❤️🔥💔 beautiful 😢
A great man I will never get to meet. Rest in peace Simon Cowell, you put up a great fight!
Wonderful effort. As a retired wildlife biologist (USA), I am so delighted seeing your rewilding project added to your amazing rescue/recovery efforts. Rewilding will probably save as many animals in a year as your rescue efforts. Hope others will follow your concepts. ❤
I have supported Simon and Wildlife aid for years now. Keep up the great work!
Thank you, Simon, and WAF for the amazing work you do for wildlife. This rewilding site is beautiful. Keeping you in my prayers daily. ❤🙏
Thank you for so many fond memories Simon of watching these videos when I was in a dark spot of my life. You helped so many people and animals alike, you will be so missed.
Simon, i wish u would grow strong and heal, just like this incredibly brilliant rewilding project. TYSM for everything. GBU WAF :-)
On the 11th of May, it was announced that Simon's cancer had progressed to the point that they were giving him a prognosis of weeks.
Thank you, Simon. Thank you for what you have done for the wildlife. Thank you for the animals you have rescued. But most of all, thank you for giving me, and I'm sure others, a wonderful view into these animals lives and how we not only can but must do what we can to preserve them.
When your time comes, I hope it's pain free and gentle, and I hope you know how much you've done and meant for so many.
Oh no. I am heartbroken to hear this... Where was it announced?
@@Earthling3996 It's been in a couple of different places, but the big place is the Twitter account of Wildlife Aid.
@@Earthling3996 It's on his Wikipedia page
@@QuanticChaos1000 Thanks!
Nothing but blessings for the World Day of Rewilding! This year and every single one to come!🌍💖
I let my back yard grow wild and I have never been happier. I love foraging the edible weeds too 🌱💕
So Beautiful!! The world needs much more of this! I get absolutely sick seeing trees removed for buildings and parking lots. We have enough of those things! It's time more people realize that "progress" isn't good; it's destructive! How I wish forests were planted where all these abandoned buildings sit. Simon and those supporting him are such amazing, compassionate people!
I couldn't say it better! 👍👍❤️
Wow so wonderful!!! So happy for you and the wildlife that will benefit from this amazing sight!!! 👍🫶🏻
Just heard the incredibly sad news. Rest in Peace, Simon. You will be very much missed.
The work you do is truly wonderful. Thankyou, from Sydney Australia.
Amazing to see the progress at the new site. Keep going Simon and WAF!
What an awesome project.
Where you lead Simon, we will follow 🙏
Rest in peace Simon, Thanks for everything you have done for animals
@Simon All the best for you! 🤗
I just heard the news and I want to offer my sincere condolences to the family. Simon was a model of human being, and an inspiration to people all over the world. A big hug from Brazil.
This is beautiful, thank you so much for doing this. All of you should be so proud of what you've done. I hope this can inspire more people and one day the world can be as wild as it's supposed to be again. People need to livein harmony with everything else on this planet. Thank you for your efforts.
This year I have wildflowers I'm planting to encourage pollinators, some of the flowers will come back next year if all goes well. Time to rewild the garden more than it's ever been.
Really liked this video, and awed by what you -- and we -- have done here. Well done, good and faithful servant.... Continue the work, Simon and all....
you made a huge inpact on ALOT of animals life..
So beautiful. Simon, you're amazing, thank you for everything you have done over the years and every life you have saved. 🙂
Simon has done so well will cancer lasting nearly 2 years and he deserves a lot more well done Simon 💙
Nice work Simon!
Rest in peace, Simon!
I’m very sad Simon Cowell has passed away, he was a hero who made a brilliant service for devoting his life into rescuing and saving animals, he was funny, he really made a difference, he was a good man, very hard working, helpful, brilliant and had a character, I miss this man a lot and will miss watching him on videos, he has inspired me to see the swans and I rescued swan when it was booted out by his parents and took him to another lake, R.I.P Simon Cowell, thank you for the service and you won’t be forgotten
Rest in peace Simon, much love
That is an amazing looking place. I remember a couple of years ago when you guys made a video about being left that million pounds.
Looks amazing well done
Wow what a difference! Absolutely amazing guys. It must be the most beautiful thing to see the direct result of your hard work, sweat and tears come to fruition like that
Thanks!
I cried watching this. What a legacy. Simon you will live forever ❤
i really hope so
Rest in Peace Simon watched your channel back when it was on in the 90s , what a great man❤❤❤
God bless you Simon 🙏
Really incredible. Ongoing prayers and good energy to Simon❤❤❤🙏
I was just checking the Patreon and was supprised how little members there were. This type of support would help these guys massively. If people spare a few £ a month then I can't think of any better charity out there that helps british wildlife the way they do.
That place is so beautiful and so important at the same time. There are people who leave behind legacies of billions of dollars or the like, but they don't even come close to the greatness of this legacy. The legacy of Simon Cowell and Wildlife Aid Centre.
Met this man when he came to save a fenale duck and her ducklings rest in peace sir i also have wildlife sos dvds and its incredible the stuff this man has done both in this country and intentionally thank you simon for all you've done
Rest in peace Simon! I hope you are doing alright in your final stages of life!
Tears of joy flowing at the beauty of this. Love to hear your voice, Simon. Thank you everyone that has made this possible. Bless you all.💞💞
Go Simon!🎉👏💕🙂Badgers, my fav!
Well done!
Thankyou for helping to save our planet💕
Thank you!
❤❤❤❤❤
CHEERS!
Wow! What a fantastic gift to the world's wildlife! So very precious and creative. Thank you. 🌳🌿🌾🪺🦔🐿️🦌🐇🦨🦉🦇🦋🪱🐝🐞
Beautiful, thank you.
Dear Simon, it is people like Sir David Attenborough who have inspired me my life long to admire the beauty of nature (well him and nature itself), but it is hands on people like you that give a shimmer of hope for the future of our planet. Small beginnings can become grand and elaborate. Your legacy just might make such a difference to come. Bless you and your team !
Rest in peace my dude.
This is awesome! 😮
Thank you Simon for everything you do.🙏 You're heart is in the right place! ❤
Great video on a great cause from a great person. So good to see you Simon. Look forward to more of your videos.
Very well, you are strong and healthy... Go on....
It looks stunning. Just fabulous .
I love wildlife, for me, it's been my guide, my sanctuary, my spirit. For wild animals, it's their home, it's all that they have. What an amazing place to keep for nature, for growing habitats and the protection of wildlife. Throughout your life, you've made every moment count! You are a hero to us and all wildlife, and a bright beam of compassion! Your dream has been made real, and it will keep on expanding, to help millions, and inspire so many people 💕
Rip Simon xxxxx
I MISS YOU, Simon! 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💋💕💓💓💗💖

Twenty acres 'rewilded', whilst twenty squillion acres are bulldozed every year to build new houses, roads and factories etc.
🙄
The problem is Devil runs the world. He is lier and murderer. That's why we've got the Gospel about the God's kingdom.
Jehovah would put everything in order. The dead will be resurected and we'll meet our beloved ones again! :-)
Seems pointless to me if you are not going to reduce the size of the human population. That is just a museum you have created there.
Pointless if he don't look into g3oengineering and ch3mtrails
