I love John Mayer. One of my all time favorite musicians. People don't like him because.of things he has said in previous interviews when he was immature. I think he has matured and is basically a good peeson. Definitely a great musician. So creative and talented!

Reason being…?
The reason a lot of celebrities don't like John is because of the interviews he has given where he just rambles on about nonsense thinking he is making sense. Now maybe..... maybe........ drugs or alcohol made him act like that. But, he has said some weird things in interviews. Just imagine Fiona Apple accepting the MTV award where she just started saying a lot of stupid things (that video of Fiona is on UA-cam). That is why maybe he turned off a lot of people to him. But, overall, I think John is smart and very talented.

I agree with you. And I remember that Pink had an argument with him in the past because he said in front of her "I only shag stupid women". That's why she doesn't like him.. because he was, and maybe still, a JERK. I have also read Simpson's memoir recently and from the part about their relationship you can see how John abused her mentally and emotionally. Abusive men don't change, they just change their tactics.

Hello🌷. (Excuse my English) I've been following John Mayer for a few months now and I'm fascinated by his music/lyrics. I live in Spain (Europe) (I'm Spanish) and I don't know his personal life or American gossip. But I want to say that it is possible that he has been wrong, a jerk, and realizing that it is not the path that he wants for the rest of his life... and change. For me , this process of change involves realizing that I was wrong, condemning myself for having been a jerk (and this takes a lot of reflection and introspection ) , and finally forgiving myself. We all make mistakes and we are all always making progress. The positive thing about life is that there is always an opportunity to be a better person. (Luckily he has also given up drinking). It takes a lot of courage to realize/face that you were a jerk and that you don't want to be one anymore. It seems that he wants to be a better person and this is already more than half of the world's people do.
