Man, their acting was atrocious and cringeworthy to watch. You could argue Dakota's character suffered from character assassination and poor writing though, as the writers not only changed her character's way of dressing completely but also her personality just to create drama. The Franky we got to know in season 5 would have been happy with Matty. As for the Male actors: Sebastian D'Souza as Matty was pretty bad and also Nicholas Holt wasn't much of an actor when playing Tony.
Jack O'Connell is hell of an actor. He has auch an amazing personality and is so down to earth. Talents like hin are very rare these days. He never used social media to earn fame. I absolutely love him. Hope he gets more attention in the future. He deserves it.

In what was, admittedly, quite an uneven Series 4 this episode absolutely blew me away. I intensely disliked Cook at the beginning of Series 3 but, by the end of this episode he may have ended up my favourite character in all three generations. He wasn’t a bad person just had a bad start. Jack O'Connell is an incredible actor.

Not gonna lie I know everyone loves effy and excuses her toxic behavior because of trauma but she ruined both Freddie and Cook, and did all this straight to their faces. Yes her character is relatable on all other senses, but I wish people didn’t excuse trauma for someone to be a total toxic person. Two wrongs make no rights, and I wish Effy had a better and healthier non-toxic ending to herself and proved she recovered. Skins fire just proved not much changed, she did something highly illegal, dated someone who was already with someone and was her boss too- then went to jail for the illegal actions :/

That's part of what makess this show really good, it tackles teenage characters starting to take responsibility for themselves, their well being (Effy chosing not to keep her toxic relationship with Cook going, when they were drinking and doing drugs while on the run all the time), their actions (Cook admiting everything even if it means going to jail) and on a smaller scale, teens starting to understand other peoples mindset, when JJ starts to understand Cook's behaviour and he slowly forgives him. It would've been so easy to just make a show with teens and parties and drugs and alcohol without never having moments like this that really shape their personal growth, but skins went further and showed a glimpse of what growing up means.

What was up with the music in this scene though? It just went on and on for about 5 minutes and didn't really add any emotion at all. It would be almost better without it. I don't know if there were budget problems but that music didn't really work I felt.
