Challenge yourself? That's called masochism. However it's part of human mentality. We love to inflict pain on ourselves (see sports, overwork, unrealistic goals), because ego or rather culture tells us to test ourselves. Question 'why' is never asked. Either way, let's ride bikes...
Dunno how UA-cam math works, but if avg video gets 2-3k views I bet that there won't be 10 thousand subscribers before December (this year, if I understand correctly?). But wish you luck anyway
Even with 2-3k views, 25-30% are non-subscribers. So the hope is to retain those people and as you do it, slowly I might add, it leads to channel growth.
@@theradavist666 For keeping your mustache I can only recommend you to collaborate, visit makers with interviews like Paul Broadie, or participate as guest on some bicycle podcast. Dunno if any of this ideas fits in your video styles.
@@isaacrosenberg3795 Check out the channel - and our website (theradavist.com/) - for all that and more. We've been doing that sort of content since 2006. Thanks!
@@theradavist666 I know, your website is great by itself. But we are cyclists), when we on a way to somewhere - we can't read or watch - want more audio/video content. For example, when I work as courier its nice to listen to Slow Spin Society podcast - it feels like a group call with friends. If your workshop/store visits would include also some interviews with team/owner/mechanic it would be great to listen also.

To me, competition spoils something that should be fun... racing is just a way to ruin a good bike ride.
Fair! It's not for everyone. I like racing it's exciting.
I agree! I have such little time to ride that I want to look at horned lizards and birds, not eat goo and cramp. haha
@@johnprolly and biocrust!
@@maocycle my tongue is firmly in cheek - if you enjoy racing then all power to you, it's just that I don't have a competitive bone in my body.
Lake City 50 in Lake City, Colorado. That should be your race.
See, I'd want to race a MTB on that! Miguel wants me to race gravel. 😕
@@johnprolly I did it my first year on a gravel bike. It's technically doable.
@@johnprollyIt's racing, technically It could be a mtb race
Y’all could easily get to 10k.
