I know this is three years old as I watch it, but the beauty of youtube is that the video's actually don't age. I'm in the process of doing the same in my 1976 Gemini ( Australia ) . I've stripped the bay clean ( even the crossmember is out ) and am planning on starting in the bay first. I also plan on doing as much as I can on a learning curve hoping that it won't be too bad to do myself. Your bay looks real tidy and I'm not looking for a show quality bay.. Just a nice neat streeter look.. Thanks for sharing with the info as well. Cheers
Yes it should of came with your JDM frontend. I just realized that part I left out that bracket bar on my all videos. Here is a video where we were the first ones to show people how to do a JDM conversion just by replacing T-bar and adding brackets for the headlights. Please help spread the word. ua-cam.com/video/OW0mWi_8a2o/v-deo.html
Thank you @Aaron Escobedo. I was planning on a video of parts list but I can give you a temp list that I made awhile back for a friend. When I get time I will come up with a good complete list.
BASF Glasurit paint but it is pricey because of the quality. Any other paint company can be used to save you money and to mix the color you want but you would need a paint expert to mix and make a specific color for you.
Yes there is a bracket bar specifically for the hold the bumper up that bolts up to the bumper crash bar. I just realize I have that the part out on all my videos.
@@jsrebuilds3951 yes im missing that piece and i guess ill need a crash bar too , thank you apriciate it , i needed to piece my front end together im misshing the bumper support with the crash bar
Thank you
Excellent video thanks!!!!!!!👍🏽

you spraypaint the bay without the rest of the body and the windscreen covered up ?? Either you are a very precise painter, or lucky or ...
We don't use spray paint here, only professional materials used here. No hack jobs done here.
If you see in the video the whole car is masked up, its called clear plastic body mask that professional bodyshops use.
Hey bro isnt there onother part or support that goes under the lights so the bumper can stay up?

At least at 3:55 spraying on primer...
Professional work done here only. Don't be fooled no spray cans or anything like what you see out there.
That color came out awesome man! Great job.
Thank you @Jaime Vargas
Looks great bro! I was wondering if you did it. Is that Acura/Honda gunmetal grey, something like NHP code or something?
The color is BASF Glasurit color, it came off their sheet called Carizzmatics, code: CZZ-111 Charcoal Pearl.

Or can you explain how did you have the bumper to stay up
