This goes to show you that you never know what a person is dealing with on the inside. We look so much at the outside. That's why it's so important how you treat people. You don't want to cause more pain for a person that's already hurting.
As an interviewer she doesn’t seem at all emotionally invested in what Dr. Cole is sharing...feels like she’s just trying to rush on to the next question she has mapped out in her head as opposed to allowing Dr. Cole to open up about and share a very painful experience.
They love the mess out of their mom and I love that. I feel that with my dad we that close and I loss him in 2013 so I understand life will never be the same. But I thank God for Jesus that the Lord would speak b/c we need her here with us. I love Dorinda
My God I was just at this point two weeks before the new year began (2019) and it’s no Coincidence that God led me to her “I Survived” Album and now this interview! God is Awesome ! 🙌🏾
“Glory to God in the highest”!!!! I love Dorinda and all the Clark sisters!!! They’re my favorite gospel group. 💝 Her story inspired me bc I survived too! Her spiritual light shines so bright and she’s very humble. Thank you for this interview Nikki! 😊💖✝️💜
She is so anointed. Turn Nikki Woods mic down. She came to Chicago Fellowship Baptist Church for Good Friday one year and OH MY LORD!!!!!!!! God showed up and through there. Life changing........
I love me some Evangelist Dorinda Clark Cole.❤️Her music lift me . Everytime I feel depressed I turned on the Clark Sisters music just to here her voice.
You should call, text, or write someone, immediately, and talk when you feel you are at the bottom. Talk to the Lord and also call someone to talk out the pain.
Sometimes there is no one...you may be that one that every person goes to...your the laughter in the room and no one knows your screaming on the inside.
You can't really say how someone should act when in that moment. I've been there so I know from experience. Sometimes the person may not have someone to call or feel like they're alone or like Dr. Cole said you feel like you can't hear God. The enemy will tell you no one will care so don't call anyone. But all glory be to God that he's a present help in time of trouble.
@@KreativeHoliness , I have battled suicidal thoughts and tendencies for 45 YEARS. From my experience, talking to someone when you are in the midst of that battle is as important as grabbing your glasses and putting them on to see. When I say “you should call someone,” I say that as a new tool to add to a person’s arsenal when they are in this battle, for it is a tool I often run to, even via my Messenger app, when the clutches of suicide try to overshadow and overtake my thoughts.
Oh Dorinda, I love you so dearly and so glad you're still here. To hear the timing of this and realizing those were some of the times that she was on fire for Jesus the most going back watching old footage. The devil obviously knew her destiny in Christ Jesus and tried to prevent it but was a liar then and still one today. I thank God for his extended hand of mercy over all of our lives. You alone Lord deserve all of me.
I originally subscribed to support an intelligent black woman and her channel, then I unsubscribed after watching her be so non sympathetic about something so serious as a suicide attempt. Polish your interviewing skills to at least ACT like you care. Love you Dorinda!
I watched before coming to the comments and the whole time I thought that maybe I was tripping, but nah...clearly I'm not the only one who felt bad energy from the interviewer. Like sis, why? Dorinda didn't deserve that.
Dorinda, along with the international music department of the COGIC was sued by Sherri Edwards. Dorinda wrote the song "Right Now God," and Sherri led it. However, Sherri was not given credit for being the lead and alleged that she was unaware that her singing the song that night was for "recording purposes." She sued for negligence and invasion of privacy (using her voice on a record without permission). She ultimately prevailed and was awarded $725,000. The album was released in July and Mattie Moss passed in September. The lawsuit followed shortly after, and being in grief, it was probably the straw that broke the camels back to send her over the edge. I am amazed at DCC's strength and grateful that she survived through that season!
Ehhh the host is so out of touch. I cannot. Her mic is waaayy too loud. I can’t even finish the rest of the video. 🙄 Buuuttt I LOOOOOOOVE DCC so Imma finish it.😂
Just want to point out that we have ALL murdered... consider that mosquito or ant you've smashed... anything with breath and blood is of the living... judge not...

I really appreciate her honesty and her real struggle to survive. God is good. Thank God for her testimony.
This is why people love and respect Dr. Cole. For real...you can tell in her voice.
Seeing these people on the red carpet and smiling doesn't mean anything. They're everyday people like us and going through things with a smile.
This girl is chuckling while she's talking about suicide. I know that she might have been uncomfortable but wow
I thought I was the only one that picked that up.. She was horrible interviewer I felt she didn't believe Dorinda.

I had to watch this again....many ppl aren't willing to be this candid when talking about when they were going through suffering.
interesting that she said "You would think that the church would have been behind you of course...but couldnt find anybody"...wow that's disturbing.

Why don't Christian realize that they will loose their souls if they commit suicide? God says do not kill, that also means yourself.
