Rocky was about the heart Rocky II was about not giving up Rocky III was about redemption Rocky IV was about vengeance Rocky V was about family Rocky Balboa was about moving on
Havinf said that he wasnt such a wise man going for Hulk Hogan with a wooden chair... he didnt look so wise when he was out cold hahahaha mind like you said it was some good advice to rocky against Drago.
I always loved how Rocky loved Paulie unconditionally. I believe the Rocky character was, without a doubt, the greatest franchise character in the history of film. People knock Sylvester Stallone but he gave Rocky so much depth, breadth, heart, and emotion.
That comment was very motivational even though it's true that we put our most important priorities off and we don't work on ourselves to be better just give up before we even try. I'll never live life like that even though that line was very loud but true and inspirational it's a bold fact. That you gotta work to get anything in life just facts

"You see?! YOU SEE?! HE IS NOT A MACHINE, HE'S A MAN!!!" is one of the best quotes in the series, it shows you that what you think is impossible, is actually doable afterall.
I love Rocky 5 the most because it was the most emotional out of all the rest.. especially the scene were Adrian yells at Rocky and says your loosing your family, give back to your son.. & the part the crowd yell Rocky name at a fight he aint there gives me chills.. I loved all the Rocky episodes, from old to new.. 🥊
Hey, Adrian did we ever leave this place? That one gets to me.. if you’ve ever had a little success, but somehow it didn’t last and you find yourself doing and being all the things you were. Then that scene means something.
yes he was...and i love when he says that it wakes me up...and some how i get back up and continue fighting back in whatever obstacles that stand in my way 👍
The scenes with Stallone and Meredith make you forget it’s a movie even just for a moment. In that Moment They are Rocky and Mick. It’s like there’s really love in Stallone’s eyes and fatherly protective love in Micks tone. Amazing
PuroYO People go asking around what true love is, what relationships are all about. That scenes pretty much explains it, it's about being there for the person you love, when he/she doubts himself.
I love the part where he says “you got the heart, but you don’t have the tools...yeah that’s right”. People don’t understand, that was for motivation. He slapped him and said those things to really get him going. God what I would give for a trainer like that. Damn.
Actually, no. Mick was trying to talk him out of rematching Apollo. It was when he got angry at the media coverage that he decided they should put up a shot.
In your lifetime there are only one or two things that happen that have such an impact on your life that decades later they still can make you cry ,I grew up in the 80s and wish I could meet sly Stallone and shake his hand and say thanks for the great memories
Mr. T kept this series alive, 1 and 2 where great but when I went to the movies I didn't think 3 would be great but Mr. T performance was awesome, "I pity the fool".
"We have to be right in the middle of the action because we're warriors. And without, some, some challenge, or some damn warrior to fight, the warrior may as well be dead stallion" This is so true for me, after finishing my final exams and I'm done with no immediate challenge... I feel lost in a way. Whether in sports, in school, at my job, or with family, I always need to have a goal, something to strive for. If I don't, I just feel lifeless.
In tenth grade, after finals, I took my high-school girlfriend to see Poltergeist. I did not miss school at all. A week later, I saw Rocky III the day it opened. By 1985 I didn't even care enough to go to the theater.
One of the most hype lines/scenes was when Duke says “ you cut him” “ you see he’s not a machine” he’s a man”!!!! Man I jump up every time ready to kill something every time lol
I'm pretty sure Stallone will be more loved and appreciated after he has left this world, and that is so very sad, because he has given the world so much.
After all these yrs the movie still works. This is an example of an excellent story. It has all the human emotions, humor, drama, action, tension, sentiment in a excellently packaged fight movie. It is not too sappy yet not slow.
I never forgot Mick's words ever since I watched this movie since I was a kid, those motivational words if his are still real and true even after he has gone in real life. RIP Burgess Meredith 🙏🙏🙏
Indeed it is. True story here - I was hospitalized 18 mos ago. Recovering from a massive stroke, induced coma, asleep about a week. In my head, that's how I started living again.Weird. But I know Micky luvs us!.
Sylvester Stallone one of the greatest actors of my time I would say this man is like the tractor who paved the way for so many what a great awesome and wonderful person God bless you thank you for sharing all your talents with the world
How hollywood never gave him an oscar for acting is unbelieveable! He brought Rocky balboa to life but he could do comedy & serious drama too: copland. Held is own alongside other greats like De Niro. I wish our Queen would give him a knighthood for his services to entertainment, he is one of a kind. I know countless people of my generation that he inspired to be better just from his films. @Charles Martel Ever heard of a typo??.
@Charles Martel Auto correct usually causes typo more than typing. Secondly phones use the qwerty setup resembling the computer keyboard but there are no spaces like on a comp keyboard. People lose track of their finger location on a phone keyboard due to the fact that it is flat. People use their thumbs to type. Left thumb for left side right thumb for right side. Thumb being the fattest finger on your hand reduces ur precision on the keyboard. It also has the ability to press 2 keys at the same time. Thus leading to typo. Judging by your response you must have typed it just for the heck of typing it.
