I can go on and on but you would have to be on one to truly appreciate all the shit that can stuffed into one,I know this as I am a manager at the Viking yachting center next to the manufacturing facility in New Gretna, New Jersey.
This boat draws about 6.5 foot of water. On lakes I know especially in the lake Champlain area all overboard discharge of blackwater must be disabled meaning not locked out but disconnected. This is an amazing boat on the pins almost 43 knots in 5 ft chop. Love the power,speed,handling,and the enclosed wheelhouse that is loaded with all the latest and greatest electronics,well a such as the budget will allow. The best is I get to run a multitude of viking yachts as I am a manager at the yachting center that is next to the factory in beautiful New Gretna New Jersey.
As much as I want one, and probably could afford one over a 100 year payment plan... it’s just not practical. It’s beautiful and spacious. But, for being a real fishing yacht. It’s just not maneuverable enough and just way to much boat. Anything under 75 feet and above 50 feet is all you’ll ever need. Any more and I promise you, it becomes a burden a lot of the time. I would know from experience with this issue as my companies last boat was in the 80 foot range.
